Description

The company builds AI-powered humanoid robots meant to work alongside people, starting with manufacturing and logistics and later reaching healthcare, the home, and other areas. Its flagship robot is Apollo.

The team is taking Apollo from prototype to market at scale, working through problems such as safety, commercialization, and mass production.

This is a principal, builder-level role to create and lead the People Analytics function. You will turn workforce data, including attrition, workforce cost, and organizational health, into insight that guides talent and business decisions, set the analytics strategy, own the data governance foundation beneath it, and serve as the main analytics adviser to senior and executive leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Set the People Analytics strategy and a multi-year roadmap.
  • Build advanced statistical and predictive models for attrition risk, workforce planning, and organizational health forecasts, and present the results to the executive team and board as clear, decision-ready stories.
  • Define and maintain the company's core workforce metrics and KPI framework.
  • Create and upkeep dashboards, reports, and standard reporting processes that the People team uses to make decisions.
  • Advise senior and executive leaders as the principal analytics expert on org design, talent strategy, and workforce planning.
  • Set technical direction and standards for People Analytics work, and mentor the analysts doing it.
  • Create and evolve the company-wide People data governance framework, covering standards, definitions, ownership, and quality service levels across all people systems.
  • Own the classification and handling rules for sensitive people data, keeping them compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable regulations.
  • Plan the long-term architecture for people data with IT and Data Engineering.
  • Work with IT on system security, access controls, and technical integrations.
  • Act as a trusted thought partner to stakeholders at every level.
  • Track People Analytics trends and propose ongoing improvements.
  • Provide analytics support for HR strategic initiatives and projects.

Requirements

  • Show you can influence and communicate with senior and executive stakeholders, turning data into business narratives.
  • Bring strong business judgment and a consultative style when working with HR and business leaders.
  • Have 10+ years of increasingly senior experience in People Analytics or Workforce Analytics, including advising senior or executive leaders directly.
  • A Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, I/O Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Be proficient in SQL, in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, and in statistical and predictive modeling.
  • Have experience building Workday reports and dashboards.
  • Physical demands: long periods of sitting at a desk and computer work; occasionally lift 15 pounds; read printed material and computer screens; hear and speak to communicate.

Conditions

This is a direct hire position. Agency and outside recruiter submissions are not accepted.
