Senior Analytics Manager - Compliance

Description

The company is a global technology company that moves and manages money across borders, and this role sits in its Compliance and Internal Audit Analytics team.

You will lead the EMEA branch of that team, which uses analytics to strengthen testing and monitoring, builds tools, and automates regulatory reporting for Compliance.

The role works with second line Compliance across Europe, the UK and the Middle East and Africa, helping them meet the regulatory reporting calendar and use data to spot risks early.

Responsibilities

• Work with Compliance stakeholders in every region, product area and function, including Financial Crime, Operations, Risk, Finance and IT.
• Own how analytics and Compliance work together on regulatory reporting, and move recurring reports toward automated pipelines.
• Find and deliver the highest-impact analytics within testing projects, and help Compliance partners build the same skills.
• Set and track KPIs that show how well the team performs and what difference it makes.
• Promote new ideas and data-led insight across every Compliance activity where analytics can help.
• Lead automation and tooling projects that make Compliance work more efficient.

Conditions

This is an AL2 role, and the analytics career map sets out the levelling structure.

You will manage a team of 3-4 analysts, spending 40% of your time on hands-on work and 60% on leadership.
