Description

The company is a global technology business that moves and manages money for people and businesses, including sending money abroad, spending overseas and making international payments. Its autonomous teams own their work and focus on what has the biggest effect on customers.

Search is changing quickly because of generative AI, machine learning and new ways customers discover products. This Paid Search Senior Executive role runs and improves campaigns across several platforms, markets and languages, using data to guide decisions.

You need at least 1-2 years of hands-on paid search experience and should be comfortable with campaign data, spotting opportunities and acting on what it shows. You should also keep up with new search developments such as AI-powered campaign formats, automation and bidding. You will work with other paid search specialists and cross-functional partners to grow customer acquisition while building skills in larger, global campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Run and improve paid search campaigns that support acquisition and efficiency targets.
  • Manage large Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and Apple Ads accounts spanning several markets and languages.
  • Track performance, spot trends and recommend practical changes to improve results.
  • Help launch campaigns and extend them into new markets, products and search or discovery channels.
  • Carry out routine account upkeep, quality checks and performance reviews so campaigns run accurately as intended.
  • Use automated bidding, Performance Max and AI Max to improve results and efficiency.
  • Find recurring work that automation, templates or better processes could make faster.
  • Keep up with search marketing, generative AI and changing discovery habits.
  • Help deliver structured tests of ad copy, assets, targeting and landing pages, from setup to results.
  • Form testable hypotheses, track outcomes and turn findings into recommendations.
  • Use search term, campaign and customer behaviour data to make ads more relevant and clearer.
  • Work with Marketing, Product and Analytics colleagues to help customers reach the information and services they need.
  • Build and update campaign reports and dashboards that communicate performance clearly and accurately.
  • Analyse data to find optimisation opportunities, risks and questions that need deeper investigation.
  • Provide reliable performance inputs for forecasts and plans, and explain the assumptions behind them.
  • Turn analysis into short recommendations for paid search colleagues and wider stakeholders.
  • Share learnings with the paid search team and help solve problems together.
  • Partner with SEO, Product, Analytics and Paid Marketing on projects that improve acquisition and the wider customer journey.
  • Own assigned projects and campaign areas, reporting progress, risks and results clearly.
  • Contribute to team documentation, best-practice processes and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Ask for feedback and build your technical, analytical and commercial paid search skills.

Requirements

  • You have 1-2+ years running large, direct response search campaigns for a growing business or agency; ideally you have scaled campaigns across global markets.
  • You have practical Google Ads experience. Experience with Microsoft Ads, Apple Ads or other performance marketing platforms is beneficial.
  • You understand campaign structure, keyword management, search terms, audience targeting, ad copy and automated bidding.
  • You can work with campaign data to spot trends, diagnose changes in performance and propose next steps.
  • You know conversion tracking, attribution and core paid search measurement.
  • You use spreadsheets and reporting or visualisation tools to analyse and present performance.
  • You are interested in automation, generative AI and how new technology is changing search.
  • You pay close attention to detail and keep accuracy while managing several campaigns or tasks.
  • You communicate clearly and work well with colleagues from other disciplines.
  • You take initiative, own your work, and are willing to learn and test new approaches with a customer focus.
  • You understand how paid search fits the wider customer journey alongside SEO, Paid Social and Affiliates.
