Presales Systems Engineer (HPE Networking) - CCA

Description

You will join the CCA (Caribbean and Central America) organization and provide presales technical guidance, solution design, partner enablement and consulting on HPE Aruba Networking and Juniper products across the region.

You will work alongside Vendor Management, Business Development Managers (BDMs), sales staff and channel partners to grow business through technical leadership, solution design, demos, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), training and opportunity support.

The ideal candidate has strong networking knowledge, customer-facing presales experience and the skill to turn business needs into workable technical solutions.

The company is based in the Caribbean and Central America region.

Responsibilities

• Give presales technical support on HPE Aruba Networking and Juniper opportunities.
• Work hands-on with both HPE Aruba Networking and Juniper platforms.
• Help partners and sales teams size and design solutions, check architectures and build bills of materials (BOMs).
• Run demonstrations, Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and Proofs of Value (PoVs).
• Lead customer presentations, workshops and technical discovery sessions.
• Enable partners, resellers and internal teams on the technology.
• Write technical documentation, reference architectures and best-practice guidance.
• Take part in vendor initiatives, certifications, webinars and training.
• Work with Vendor Management and Business Development to build pipeline and help close deals.
• Propose technical solutions that fit customers' business and technology needs.
• Help meet vendor KPIs for enablement, demonstrations, certifications and technical engagements.

Requirements

• An associate or bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, IT or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in presales, systems engineering, networking or a similar technical role.
• Hands-on knowledge of enterprise network design, switching, routing, WLAN, security basics, discovery, solution sizing and BOM creation.
• Working knowledge of HPE Aruba Networking and Juniper solutions, including architecture, demos, PoCs and technical documentation.
• Experience working with channel partners, distributors, resellers or technology vendors.
• Clear communication and presentation skills for both technical and business audiences.
• Strong customer focus, troubleshooting skills and stakeholder management.
• Ability to juggle several opportunities, collaborate well and work independently.
• English and Spanish at B2 level or higher.
• Relevant education or certifications include Aruba Certified Network Technician (ACNT), Aruba Certified Switching Associate (ACSA), Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA), Juniper JNCIA-Junos, Juniper JNCIA-MistAI, CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA and Cisco CCNP (preferred).

Conditions

Remote work environment.

Occasional travel within Central America and the Caribbean, depending on business needs.

Hours may sometimes extend beyond standard working time to support customers and the business.

Occasional on-call availability may be required for customer engagements and urgent business needs.
