Description

The role is a senior technical strategist position within the Risk and Security practice, one of the four practices across the GEO. You are pulled in on demand through an intake form to add deep practice expertise alongside partner-aligned Partner Technology Architects and Partner Solution Engineers. The goal is to help partners get activated, co-create solutions and grow commercially.

You can work with Global, Regional Managed (any Major Area, including Commercial) and Development partners where practice depth is needed. Engagements are either proactive, such as planned enablement, practice launches or joint business planning, or reactive, such as a specific request, deal-time support or a gap on the partner side. Most work falls outside the quarter, though you may support in-quarter opportunities in specific cases.

Responsibilities

  • Co-create practice-specific reference architectures, reusable patterns and integration libraries that partners can extend and sell, taking them from concept through validated solution to scaled commercial launch.
  • Build reusable co-innovation assets such as solution templates, industry accelerators, demo environments and blueprints.
  • Provide senior practice technical expertise, including L400 work, new patterns and complex multi-product scenarios.
  • Drive partner adoption of AI-enhanced practice capabilities.
  • Lead technical workshops with partners and speak directly with practice buyers such as CISOs and CXOs.
  • Run strategic proofs of concept that show the business value of the practice.
  • Coach partner architects and pre-sales teams on solution positioning, how to differentiate against competing platforms, and industry patterns.
  • Design and deliver practice architecture training, workshops and executive briefings. Assess partner technical capability and build maturity plans and certification paths.
  • Represent the company's practice innovation at industry events and forums, and contribute to thought leadership.
  • Work with partner-aligned Partner Technology Architects on practice-specific joint business planning.
  • Keep expert knowledge of the competitive landscape and turn market intelligence into insights for partners.
  • Support the SC Field with commercial partner development requests.
  • Measured by partner practice maturity and self-sufficiency: progression, pre-sales certification (sales focus, not implementation), readiness scores, vertical depth and whether partners can position, demonstrate and deploy practice solutions alone.
  • Measured by pipeline influence: growth in partner-sourced and partner-influenced practice pipeline and faster deal velocity.
  • Measured by co-created offerings: the number and quality of repeatable practice offerings built with partners.
  • Measured by thought leadership: conference talks, published content and external visibility in the AI practice.
  • Measured by executive satisfaction: partner ratings of advisory quality and strategic value.

Requirements

  • Domain expertise in Risk (IRM) or Security. Experience with Armis and Veza is preferred.
  • Experience implementing security or risk solutions.
  • CSA certificate.
  • 5+ years of channel or partnerships sales experience.
  • 5+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering in a security or risk environment.
  • 5+ years of the company platform or technical experience with cloud software.
  • Experience working with product management, product marketing, partners and professional services.
  • Territory management skills, including building pipeline and working with a sales counterpart to drive execution.
  • Travel as required.
  • Preferred and standout experience: the company platform and AI capabilities (Now Assist, AI Agents).
  • Preferred: background in management consulting, strategy advisory or partner business development.
  • Preferred: the company certifications such as CSA, CIS or architecture certifications.
  • Preferred: experience across several partner routes to market (C&I, MSP, Reseller, Hyperscaler, Build).
  • Preferred: familiarity with competing platforms and the ability to explain the company's differentiation.
  • This role does not perform platform configuration, development or solution delivery, manage commercial contracts, pricing or financial programs, replace deep technical or implementation specialists, or own day-to-day partner relationships, which sit with Partner Management.
  • Travel for partner, customer and organisational activity of up to 50%.
