Description

You will act as a senior technical strategist in the Risk and Security practice, working alongside partner-aligned Partner Technology Architects and Partner Solution Engineers wherever deep practice knowledge is needed. The goal is to speed up partner activation, co-created solutions and commercial results.

The practice is one of four in the GEO and operates worldwide. You will support Global partners, Regional Managed partners in any Major Area (including Commercial) and Development partners where practice depth is required.

This is a pooled role. You are assigned on demand through the intake form. Work is either proactive (planned enablement, practice launch, joint business planning) or reactive (a specific request, deal-time support, or a gap on the partner side). Most work falls Out-Quarter, though In-Quarter opportunities are taken on in specific cases.

Success is measured by partner practice maturity and self-sufficiency, growth in partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, the number and quality of co-developed offerings, external thought leadership, and partner satisfaction with the advisory work.

You will work closely with Partner-PTAs (Global and Regional) on assigned partners, Partner Solution Engineers and the Partner Design Studio on reference architectures and design standards, Product and Engineering teams on formal feedback about the partner ecosystem, the SC Field and SC Specialist Field on gap-driven Commercial partner requests, and Partner Managers.

Responsibilities

  • Co-create practice-specific reference architectures, reusable patterns and integration libraries that partners can extend and sell, supporting them from concept through validated solution to scaled commercialisation.
  • Build reusable co-innovation assets such as solution templates, industry accelerators, demo environments and blueprints.
  • Provide senior technical depth in the practice (for example at L400), including new patterns and complex multi-product scenarios.
  • Help partners adopt AI-enhanced practice capabilities.
  • Lead technical workshops for partners and speak directly with practice buyers such as CISOs and CXOs.
  • Run strategic proofs of concept that show the business value of the practice.
  • Coach partner architects and pre-sales teams on positioning practice solutions, differentiating against alternative platforms and applying industry patterns.
  • Design and deliver practice architecture training, workshops and executive briefings. Assess partner technical capability and build maturity plans and certification pathways.
  • Represent the company's practice innovation at industry events and forums, and contribute to thought leadership content.
  • Work with partner-aligned Partner Technology Architects on practice-specific joint business planning.
  • Keep current on the practice competitive landscape and turn market intelligence into insights partners can use.
  • Support SC Field on Commercial partner development requests.
  • This role does not configure or build platforms, deliver solutions, manage commercial contracts, pricing or financial programmes, replace deep technical or implementation specialists (who are used for depth), or manage day-to-day partner relationships (this is coordinated with Partner Management).

Requirements

  • Domain expertise in Risk (IRM) or Security. Preference goes to candidates with Armis and Veza experience.
  • Experience implementing security or risk solutions.
  • CSA certificate.
  • 5+ years of channel or partnerships sales.
  • 5+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering in a security or risk environment.
  • 5+ years of platform or technical expertise with cloud software, including the company's platform.
  • Experience working with product management, product marketing, partners and professional services.
  • Territory management skills, including building pipeline and working with the Sales counterpart to drive strong execution.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Preferred & Standout: experience with the company's platform and AI capabilities such as Now Assist and AI Agents.
  • Preferred & Standout: background in management consulting, strategy advisory or partner business development.
  • Preferred & Standout: company certifications such as CSA, CIS or architecture certifications.
  • Preferred & Standout: experience across several partner routes to market (C&I, MSP, Reseller, Hyperscaler, Build).
  • Preferred & Standout: familiarity with competing platforms and the ability to explain how the company differs from them.
