Description

The Digital Business & Technology unit leads the group's IS&T, data and digital work and supports the group's business units.

This role is the main owner of the Microsoft Fabric platform. It aligns the platform with business unit needs internally and represents the group to Microsoft externally, so Fabric serves as a business driver and not just a technical tool.

Success is measured by the number of requested features or pain points added to the Microsoft roadmap, growth in active business units and users, and the share of planned strategic milestones reached each quarter.

Responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact between the group and Microsoft's product teams in Redmond.
• Collect feedback and specific industrial needs from the group's operations worldwide and use them to shape the Microsoft Fabric roadmap.
• Obtain and manage the group's places in Microsoft Private Preview and Beta programs.
• Prepare and lead executive reviews with Microsoft to confirm that service levels match the group's size.
• Define and maintain the 12 to 24 month Fabric roadmap for the group.
• Chair the Application Committee, which validates and ranks new data use cases and high-impact projects.
• Measure and report the platform's return on investment, checking that it solves real business problems such as sustainability reporting and operational efficiency.
• Lead the account onboarding strategy so business teams are trained and able to adopt Fabric.
• Build and run a network of Fabric Champions across regions to share best practices and success stories.
• Track developments in AI and data, such as Copilot in Fabric, and propose relevant innovations to business leaders.

Requirements

• Manage stakeholders well, explaining business needs to directors and technical details to Microsoft engineers.
• Understand the data and AI market well enough to separate hype from real value.
• Have high-level functional knowledge of the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem, including OneLake, Synapse and Power BI.
• Have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role in a large international organisation.
• Speak and write professional English.
