The role sits in the company's Commercial and PDS (pharmaceutical development services) area, where you look after SAP master data for material SKUs.

Standard schedule, Monday to Friday.

The work follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards.

The master files cover Bills of Material (BOMs), routings and recipes, material master data, pricing, suppliers, purchasing records, sourcing lists and serialization information.

The team is part of a larger organisation whose work supports customers across science, food safety and health.

Responsibilities

  • Keep SAP master data accurate and complete, with a high standard of quality across all Commercial and PDS material SKUs.
  • Create, check, update and delete material master records (basic, sales, purchasing, planning, warehouse, quality and costing views), BOMs, routings, purchasing records and sourcing lists.
  • Help improve the SAP MM and Planning modules by keeping data clean, applying approved changes, fixing issues and supporting supply chain and cross-functional teams.
  • Make sure master data is accurate, governed and consistent with global and regional standards, including taking part in SOX self-assessments and staying compliant in an FDA-approved cGMP environment.
  • Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions and process improvements for SAP master data governance.
  • Write and maintain SOPs, training materials, work instructions and data standards, and make sure teams across the business are informed and trained.
  • Prepare supply chain KPIs and ad hoc management reports, track data and reporting accuracy, standards alignment and timely updates, and cover for the Supply Chain Analyst when needed.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, information technology or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on SAP experience in operations, warehouse, manufacturing or a similar setting. Pharmaceutical experience is preferred.
  • Advanced SAP master data experience in supply chain planning is preferred.
  • Strong skills in SAP, Microsoft Excel and Access, SharePoint, Trackwise and Outlook for daily master data work.
  • Experience with data systems and data warehousing is an asset.
  • You are detail-oriented and persistent in following up until work is complete, and you understand master data and how it affects processes and performance.
  • A solid grasp of change management, GMP systems, quality systems and data integrity.
  • Cross-functional knowledge of supply chain, production, finance or sales is an asset.
  • Proficiency in English.

Conditions
