Description

The company is Europe's largest e-pharmacy and treats data as central to its decisions. The Data Analytics team is in the middle of moving from an on-premise data platform to a cloud-based analytics setup, and this role is part of that work.

You would join either the Global Sales or the Operations domain, working with Product Managers, business stakeholders and technical teams. You would own analytics work from start to finish, shape technical direction and help expand self-service analytics across the business.

Tech stack: Databricks, DBT, SQL, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Cloud, Python (nice to have), AI-assisted development, tabular models, Power BI Service.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and build of scalable data models in DBT, SQL and Databricks, so that analytics across several business areas stays reliable and high quality.
  • Work with Product Managers and business stakeholders to turn complex requirements into sound technical solutions, help set backlog priorities and deliver measurable business value.
  • Build Power BI dashboards and semantic models that are easy to use and help the organisation make data-driven decisions.
  • Help with the cloud migration, modernising the analytics platform and improving the performance, scalability and efficiency of existing data products.
  • Set the standard for analytics and AI practice, mentor colleagues, run training for business users and help develop new solutions, such as the internal AI-powered "Talk to Data" tool.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years working as a Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer or in a similar role, with strong SQL, DBT, Databricks and Power BI skills in enterprise settings.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems or another related quantitative field.
  • You can explain technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and turn their business problems into scalable data solutions.
  • You enjoy coaching and mentoring junior colleagues, sharing good practice and raising the skill level of the wider team.
  • Optional but a strong plus: experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Python, A/B testing or cloud migration projects.

Conditions

Remote work is possible if the role does not need an office presence. The place you work from can be arranged individually, including up to 20 days a year from anywhere in the EU.

The company welcomes applicants of every background and treats all applications equally.

Benefits

  • Individual development support, including internal and external training.
  • Team events and regular celebrations.
  • Company pension scheme, with an external consultant available for guidance.
  • Free, anonymous access to psychologists through nilo when you feel overwhelmed at work or in private life.
