Senior iOS Developer, AdTech (m/f/d)

Description

The company is Europe's No. 1 e-pharmacy and is growing its Retail Media offering inside its mobile app.

You will be a Senior iOS Engineer in a cross-functional product team, building the next generation of Retail Media features on the mobile platform.

The work covers sponsored products, personalized recommendations, native advertising and campaign-driven customer journeys, and the shopping experience must stay best in class.

You will have high visibility and a direct effect on how the iOS ecosystem develops as the company scales.

You will work with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, Data Scientists and Retail Media stakeholders to ship fast, scalable, customer-focused mobile features used by millions of customers across Europe.

Tech stack: Swift, SwiftUI, MVVM, Swift Testing, Xcode Cloud, Swift packages, SPM, Async/Await, Dependency Injection and the latest iOS SDK.

Responsibilities

• Lead the modularization of the app and keep evolving a scalable iOS architecture.
• Define, build and refine technical standards and architecture guidelines.
• Build reusable mobile components for Retail Media, such as Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, product recommendations and banners.
• Make CI/CD more reliable, speed up builds and improve release processes.
• Strengthen the testing strategy and set up solid quality practices across teams.
• Improve app stability, performance and overall technical health.
• Review and guide key architecture decisions across several teams.
• Pay down technical debt in a deliberate way while helping product teams through platform improvements.
• Implement feature flags, experimentation and A/B testing to validate new customer experiences.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Swift and experience with large-scale production apps.
• Deep understanding of modular architecture and scalable app structures.
• Hands-on experience with Clean Architecture, MVVM or similar patterns.
• Solid grasp of modern concurrency and memory management on iOS.
• Solid experience with unit testing and raising test coverage.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills, and you collaborate well across teams.
• Experience in Retail Media, AdTech, MarTech or large-scale e-commerce platforms.
• Additional: experience building cross-platform apps with KMP, and Android experience.
