Automation Business Analyst

Description

You will join RSS Analytics and Automation, a global team with members in Switzerland, India, Costa Rica, Hungary and Malaysia.

The team works in an agile set-up with few layers of hierarchy, and everyone is expected to take the lead in their own role.

Responsibilities

• Help the regional Automation Business Partner get automation projects ready for development and keep delivery on schedule from start to finish.
• Find process improvement and automation opportunities with process experts and other stakeholders across functions.
• Work with business teams to pinpoint repetitive bottlenecks and friction between systems, then drive process and technical fixes.
• Write and keep up project documents, including AS-IS and TO-BE process designs, user requirements and regular status reports.
• Support Automation Developers through design, deployment, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and stabilization in operations.
• Keep solution documentation current across the portfolio so deployed solutions match changing business needs.
• Encourage a continuous-improvement mindset across the organization by collaborating actively and working in agile ways.

Requirements

• Solid experience in business analysis, process mapping or business process improvement.
• Proven skill in turning complex business needs into detailed technical specifications, process maps and workflow diagrams.
• Strong critical thinking and analysis, with a clear ability to tell root causes from symptoms.
• Skilled at managing stakeholders and communicating, including in complex organizational structures.
• Professional fluency in English, spoken and written.
• Experience with Agile or Lean methods, project management concepts, SAP S/4HANA, or enterprise automation platforms such as the UiPath suite, MS 365 Power Platform or Copilot Studio.
