Description

The company is building out its product management practice around bank modernization, simplifying how financial products are built, launched and serviced.

The automated journey testing tool is central to the Retail Bank's ability to bring changes to market quickly and safely. The plan is to grow it from a single-program utility into an enterprise-wide testing tool.

You will work with engineering pods and cross-functional partners on testing infrastructure aimed at 100% test automation across the bank, better tooling for developers and product managers, adoption of emerging AI tools, and getting stakeholder support for new ideas.

Part of the team owning the bank's omni-channel acquisition strategy, you will set and run the decisioning and treatment framework to win profitable customers through both digital and in-person-assisted channels.

Product management here requires five core capabilities: human-centered thinking, business focus, technology-driven solutions, integrated problem solving, and transformational leadership. Leadership includes directly managing and mentoring product managers.

Responsibilities

  • Build testing infrastructure that moves the bank toward 100% test automation.
  • Improve the experience for developers and product managers using the testing tools.
  • Bring emerging AI tools into the testing workflow.
  • Win stakeholder buy-in for new concepts and see them through.
  • Work with engineering pods and cross-functional partners on the testing tool roadmap.
  • Set and deliver the decisioning and treatment framework for omni-channel customer acquisition.
  • Learn from customers, frontline staff, designers, engineers, analysts, marketers and data scientists to build new solutions.
  • Solve the right problems, and stop work on the wrong ones.
  • Directly manage and mentor product managers, and lead cross-functional teams toward shared goals.
  • Manage product risks, including data quality, data governance and data pipeline efficiency.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (such as Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative discipline), Business or Marketing, or be in the process of earning one, with the degree completed on or before the scheduled start date.
  • Or hold a Bachelor's degree in any field and have at least 3+ years of product management experience.
  • Preferred: experience turning business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products.
  • Show proficiency in modern data ecosystems, including cloud data platforms, APIs and real-time data flows.
