Description

The role sits in the Oceania team, based in Melbourne, and covers both Performance and Sportstyle across Australia and New Zealand.

The company is a global sports brand making footwear, apparel and accessories. The wider group operates in more than 120 countries, employs around 22,000 people and also owns a golf brand and a further label.

You will bring global campaign stories to life locally and lead commercial marketing across trade and retail channels, including wholesale, full-price stores, outlets, ecommerce, concessions and pop-ups.

The team values strategic thinking, creative intent and precise execution, and wants people who can make an impact at the point of sale.

Responsibilities

  • Build integrated trade and retail marketing plans that grow traffic, conversion and sell-through across every channel.
  • Run seasonal launches for Performance and Sportstyle so each story lands consistently in Oceania.
  • Own the seasonal marketing calendars and align internal teams and partners around shared priorities.
  • Deliver every campaign on time, on budget and in line with global direction.
  • Create and support local retail toolkits that help stores and partners engage their communities.
  • Prepare structured, insight-led reports after each campaign to inform future planning.
  • Work with Brand Marketing, Retail, Sales, Sports Marketing, Merchandising and Operations to increase campaign impact.
  • Build strong working relationships with wholesale partners, agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Connect in-store marketing with social media content so the brand sounds consistent across the market.
  • Contribute to go-to-market sell-in presentations and take part in seasonal marketing reviews and post-season teardowns.
  • Spot chances to strengthen sustainability, community engagement and channel innovation.
  • Track competitor activity and share findings that sharpen the strategy.

Requirements

  • You combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and can turn a brief into a commercially strong, culturally relevant retail moment.
  • You have 3-5 years of trade or retail marketing experience at a multi-category consumer brand.
  • You manage projects well and have a track record of handling stakeholders.
  • You are detail-focused and organised, and you can juggle several high-impact campaigns at once.
  • You communicate clearly in writing, speaking and presentations.
  • You work proactively, need little direction and are confident making decisions alone.
  • You have advanced Microsoft Office skills and beginner-level Photoshop skills.

Conditions

The role is based in Melbourne and supports Australia and New Zealand.

The company provides equal opportunity to all applicants regardless of race, religion, sex, age, disability or other characteristics, and every hiring decision is made by people rather than automated tools.
