Lead Salesforce Solution Architect

The team is hiring a Salesforce Solution Architect to set the Salesforce strategy, architecture, and roadmap for the Specialty Health business, acting as the technical authority and working with Product, Engineering, and business leaders on scalable, secure healthcare technology.

Responsibilities

• Build and run the Salesforce platform strategy and multi-year roadmap for the Specialty Health organization alongside Product and business leaders.
• Design, architect, and govern enterprise Salesforce solutions built on Salesforce Health Cloud and related platform features.
• Architect and oversee Health Cloud capabilities such as patient management, care coordination, scheduling, and healthcare workflows.
• Turn business requirements into scalable technical solutions with stakeholders, Product Managers, Engineering teams, and end users.
• Lead architecture reviews and set standards for performance, security, reliability, compliance, and scalability.
• Define and implement integration architectures linking Salesforce to internal applications, third-party platforms, data services, and healthcare systems.
• Mentor and guide delivery teams, architects, and engineers on architecture.
• Assess emerging technologies and recommend platform improvements that serve long-term business and technology goals.

Requirements

• At least 10 years in enterprise, solution, or Salesforce architecture, or in technology leadership.
• At least 5 years designing and delivering enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions.
• Hands-on experience architecting Salesforce Health Cloud implementations.
• Experience defining solution architecture for highly integrated enterprise platforms.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, integration patterns, event-driven architecture, and enterprise application design.
• Experience leading architecture governance, technology standards, and large transformation initiatives.
• Ability to shape technical strategy and explain architectural decisions to executives and non-technical stakeholders.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Optional: Salesforce Certified Application Architect, System Architect, or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification.
• Optional: Experience in healthcare, specialty pharmacy, payer, provider, life sciences, or regulated healthcare.
• Optional: Knowledge of Health Cloud best practices and healthcare interoperability concepts.
• Optional: Experience with AWS, Azure, or multi-cloud architectures.
• Optional: Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and platform observability.
• Optional: Familiarity with Agile delivery and product operating models.
• Optional: Experience leading cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Security, and Operations.
• Optional: Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.

Conditions

Work from the office two days a week, in a flex-and-connect arrangement.

Occasional travel may be needed for business, technology, or leadership meetings.

Pay is set by performance, experience and skills, equity, regular market reviews, and location, and is aligned with the company's pay philosophy. Base pay range: $122,100 - $162,800. Other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentives, may also be offered.
