  • Work with the principal investigator, technical staff, subcontractors and support personnel to spot and resolve risks and issues
  • Review metrics and execution milestones, including schedule, cost and logistics, to manage performance

  • Lead scientists, engineers and technicians across a wide range of expertise
  • Hit cost, schedule and customer goals on advanced technology programs
  • Keep up a quick pace to support smooth contract execution
  • Build strong customer relationships with open communication

Requirements

  • 5 to 7+ years of relevant experience, depending on degree: BS plus 7 years or MS plus 5 years
  • Project management experience within DoD or IC, or direct support of program goals such as cost, schedule and technical performance
  • Experience leading technical teams on advanced R&D programs
  • A motivated collaborator who communicates clearly with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to obtain a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance
  • Experience writing technical proposals or leading proposal efforts
  • Experience across all project phases, from ideation to research and product development
  • Working knowledge of DoD or IC mission and acquisition processes
  • Technical breadth and proven ability to manage several technically different programs and teams at once
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take part in technical marketing and business development

Conditions

Full-time salary range: $146,000 to $205,000
