Description

The company needs a project manager who understands how technical projects run, likes working with people and can keep delivery on track.

You will manage projects in cloud migration, monitoring and observability, working closely with the company's consultants and clients to keep expectations clear, follow up decisions and make sure teams have what they need.

The local team is mainly based in Diepenbeek. Colleagues are close, help one another, share technical know-how and have a good sense of humour.

Responsibilities

  • Run projects for clients in Belgium, building strong working relationships from the outset.
  • Coordinate international projects with clients and colleagues across Europe.
  • Lead cloud migration and monitoring initiatives, including projects that use Datadog.
  • Set project scope, plan the work, and track progress, dependencies and risks.
  • Work with technical specialists to turn client requirements into a realistic delivery plan.
  • Keep stakeholders updated and resolve issues that could affect delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience managing IT projects and working directly with technical teams and clients.
  • A solid grasp of cloud environments and what a cloud migration involves.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability, including how metrics, logs, traces and alerts show the health and performance of systems.
  • Datadog experience is a strong plus. Experience with a comparable monitoring platform is also relevant.
  • A pragmatic project management style that you adjust to the project and the people on it.
  • Clear communication, strong organisation and the confidence to hold people to decisions and commitments.
  • Fluent Dutch and good English are essential. French is a strong plus.

Conditions

Hybrid working: you split your time between home and the Diepenbeek office, around two days a week in the office depending on project and client needs.

Occasional travel to meet clients and project teams.

Permanent employment directly with the company. Contractors and agency workers are not considered for this role.

Working week of 39 hours, with 26 days of annual leave.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary.
  • Company car with charging card.
  • Group and hospitalisation insurance.
  • Laptop and a flexible cafeteria plan.
  • Professional development through relevant training, certifications, coaching and knowledge sharing with colleagues.
