Description

You will help clients modernise their organisations with AI. The work starts with detailed analysis of complex needs and leads to strategic solutions based on benchmarks, evidence and how the business actually runs.

You combine AI knowledge with consulting experience to sharpen recommendations and push stakeholders to pick the problems worth solving. You also guide teams through the organisational change that AI adoption brings, produce polished deliverables, judge the medium- and long-term effects of your advice, and make sure clients are happy with both the process and the result.

The role is very client-facing. On most AI engagements you are the senior voice from the company, backed by architects and engineers from the Data & AI service line and the wider group. You work with the Service Line Manager on the offer and with Solution Architects on design.

You also help build the practice. Accelerators, methods, points of view and reusable assets come out of client work, and you are expected to take part in creating them as a core part of the job.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse client needs and context in depth to find where AI can add real business value, and challenge stakeholders to address root causes, not symptoms.
  • Propose AI solutions backed by benchmarks, evidence and feedback, with a clear route from business goals to measurable results.
  • Advise on strategic and operational decisions, weighing the medium- and long-term effects of AI on operating models, processes, teams and commercial performance.
  • Run discovery workshops, AI strategy sessions, presentations and executive discussions with both technical and non-technical people.
  • Support change management for AI adoption by building engagement, transferring skills and winning organisational buy-in.
  • Help shape commercial proposals with the Service Line Manager, contributing to solution design and technical storytelling from sale through delivery.
  • Work with Solution Architects, Data Specialists and Engineering teams to test technical feasibility and design scalable AI architectures.
  • Design and advise on AI applications that use RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), AI agents, MCP ecosystems, enterprise knowledge retrieval and workflow automation.
  • Raise the reliability, quality and performance of AI solutions using evaluation frameworks, testing methods and governance practices.
  • Contribute to new AI offers, accelerators, reusable assets and internal initiatives that strengthen the company's position in the AI market.
  • Keep delivery at a high standard and build long-term trusted-advisor relationships with clients.

Requirements

  • You have a strong consulting mindset and can grasp business objectives, KPIs, operational problems and how organisations work.
  • You have identified business opportunities for AI and turned them into practical, measurable solutions.
  • You communicate clearly and manage stakeholders well, and you can explain technical ideas simply to executives.
  • You have a practical grasp of Claude Code, AI agents, MCP connectors, plugins, skills, orchestration layers and agentic workflows.
  • You have hands-on experience building and delivering RAG-based solutions, including retrieval strategies, grounding, vector databases, enterprise search and knowledge management.
  • You have worked with AI agents and multi-agent systems, understanding orchestration patterns, memory management, tool calling and workflow automation.
  • You have assessed AI solution quality with frameworks and tools such as Harness, LangSmith, Promptfoo, Humanloop or comparable evaluation platforms.
  • You have enough technical depth to discuss enterprise architecture, integrations, APIs, security, data flows and solution design at a senior level.
  • You know where AI creates value, where it fails, and how to balance business ambition with what is realistically implementable.
  • Your Dutch is at native level and your English is fluent.
