  • Run technical assessments, shape modernization strategies, and produce enterprise roadmaps and transition plans.
  • Produce and maintain authoritative architecture products such as diagrams, data flows, interface specifications and reference designs.
  • Work with government leaders, cybersecurity, engineering and operations staff to guide and validate architecture decisions.
  • Provide senior oversight of major engineering efforts and confirm they align with enterprise standards and mission priorities.

Requirements

  • Hold an active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or a related technical field.
  • Bring 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years of specialized design work on large enterprise IT services of similar size and complexity, covering cloud-native computing and adoption (AWS, Azure, Google, Oracle), system architecture, software integration, DevSecOps and SOA/SOI.
  • Show a record of designing resilient architectures, including redundancy assessments, risk mitigation and integration with DoW or enterprise infrastructure.
  • Communicate clearly in writing and in person, manage stakeholders and turn requirements into technical solutions.
  • Have designed and integrated large, multi-technology enterprise environments using Citrix and Azure VDI, Active Directory, Azure AD, Exchange, NetApp storage, unified communications, and Windows Server and RHEL.
  • Have strong experience with automation and orchestration, including IaC, CI/CD and enterprise configuration management.
  • Have broad knowledge of networking, cloud architectures at IL2 to IL6, virtualization, identity services, data flows and cybersecurity.
  • Know RMF, NIST controls, STIGs, DoWAF and Zero Trust principles well.
  • Be able to brief senior DoW stakeholders.
  • Background in leadership, systems architecture and systems engineering.
  • Experience: 10+ years of related experience.
