Systems Engineer

Description

The company is a global technology and professional services firm serving U.S. government, defense and intelligence agencies, with about 26,000 staff across more than 50 countries, working on AI, cloud, cyber and software development.

In this role you will help move systems through their full life, from concept and design through development and operation to decommissioning, with work that feeds directly into the mission.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to milestones on specific engineering projects.
• Solve engineering problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Handle systems design, development and integration across the whole system life cycle.
• Oversee moderately complex infrastructure, including installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools.
• Model, simulate and analyze systems.
• Keep security maintained on an ongoing basis, including backup and redundancy strategies.
• Write and keep up to date documentation for processes and procedures on engineering projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Computer Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
• At least 1 year of related experience.
• Experience with system requirements, requirements analysis, systems documentation, system specifications, and test and evaluation (T&E).
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI access and a polygraph.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Conditions

Onsite role based in Annapolis Junction, MD, USA.

Full-time, 40 scheduled hours per week.

No travel required.

Salary is likely to fall between $114,750 and $155,250, but it is not guaranteed and may be set outside this range based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements.
