Junior MDM Software Engineer

Description

The Krakow technology center opened in 2022 to research and build technology that supports the company's digital transformation and growth. Its teams work on e-commerce and data platforms, supply chain tools, selling systems and cyber security.

This role keeps the PIM platform (Informatica Product 360) stable, reliable and running as intended. You will be curious, enjoy digging into how systems work, and care about getting the platform to a high standard.

The role covers second-line support, incident resolution, system performance, controlled releases and cutting down technical debt. It suits someone who wants to understand how data moves through systems and spot where processes fail.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and fix problems that users report.
• Read application logs to trace faults.
• Find and correct data inconsistencies.
• Look into integration faults involving endpoints, queues, and imports or exports.
• Run SQL queries to analyse issues.
• Tune database indexes and performance in SQL Server using SSMS.
• Check repository integrity and spot data quality gaps.
• Clean up configurations so they are easier to maintain.
• Speed up workflows and processing times.
• Improve documentation and system stability.
• Help run controlled deployments through DEV, then ACC, then PROD, following the governance model.
• Keep environments consistent with each other.
• Work with DevOps pipelines and release processes.

Requirements

• Experience supporting enterprise applications.
• Strong troubleshooting ability and a structured, detail-focused approach.
• Solid SQL skills in SQL Server and SSMS.
• Basic Java: reading logs and making small changes.
• Basic Python for maintaining scripts.
• Understanding of deployment processes and DevOps.
• Strong interest in data processes and system logic.
• Hands-on work with Informatica Product 360.
• Prior work in master data environments.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or D365.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
