Description

The company is a travel technology business. It started by helping travellers claim flight compensation and now offers a wider set of travel protection and convenience products across the whole journey.

The internal IT Support team is hiring a Junior IT Support Engineer. You will be the first point of help for hundreds of colleagues in many countries, making sure they have the hardware, software and technical support to do their work.

Your problem solving directly shapes how productive and satisfied the global team is. You will onboard new colleagues, fix hardware and software faults and improve internal tools, helping build a secure, reliable and modern workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Be the main contact for internal support requests through Jira Service Management and Slack, and troubleshoot them quickly and clearly.
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding end to end: set up laptops, create system accounts, grant access rights and configure software profiles.
  • Keep the asset inventory accurate in MDM and inventory software, and manage device shipping, repairs and refurbishing.
  • Make sure hardware is ready to use in every office.
  • Fix day-to-day office IT problems, including meeting room AV systems, local Wi-Fi and networks, and printer setup.
  • Apply internal security rules on all employee devices, including MFA, password hygiene, device encryption and zero-trust principles.
  • Write and maintain internal knowledge base articles in Confluence and user guides so people can solve common issues themselves.

Requirements

  • At least 1+ years of first-line IT support, helpdesk or desktop support experience, or a computer science or IT background with solid hands-on project work.
  • Good working knowledge of macOS, common peripheral setups and basic networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, DHCP and Wi-Fi.
  • Hands-on experience with, or familiarity with administering, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or Okta.
  • Patient, empathetic and problem-focused, with a commitment to giving colleagues a strong internal support experience.
  • Curious about new technology, persistent in following up on open issues, and willing to automate repetitive work where you can.
  • Fluent written and spoken English (B2/C1+), since you will work daily with colleagues across several time zones.

Conditions

This is a hybrid role based in Kraków.

You will join a fast-moving, tech-first international team that uses modern IT tools and cloud infrastructure.

You will be mentored by senior IT professionals and get hands-on work with SaaS, identity management, MDM and cloud systems.

The team is collaborative and high-trust, and it welcomes initiative and suggestions for improving processes.

The offices are fully accessible, and interviews can be adjusted to individual needs.

Benefits

  • Personal development budget, learning days, certification support, workshops and language classes.
  • Private healthcare, a wellness budget, a travel stipend, a gym or transport subsidy, free access to the company's services and more.
