Description

The company offers payments, data and financial products in one solution, used by customers such as Meta, Uber, H&M and Microsoft.

You will work with fast-growing and enterprise merchants to design, connect and scale how they use the company's payment platform.

The role sits between technical delivery and pre-sales, where your choices shape how global merchants perform, grow and expand.

You need to be part consultant and part engineer, with solid experience in APIs, integrations and delivery.

You will be the main technical contact for merchants, taking each project from first design all the way to launch.

Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation projects from design to go-live.
  • Create API-driven connections for intricate systems.
  • Work with Sales before contracts are signed to shape solutions, check feasibility and join technical talks with prospects.
  • Guide merchants on architecture and integration choices, testing and production readiness.
  • Align Product, Engineering, Sales and Project Management so merchants get the best result.
  • Share best practice to raise delivery quality and grow the team's knowledge.
  • Help colleagues get past blockers by sharing what you know.
  • Bring merchant needs and pain points inside the company, turning them into insights for Product and Engineering.
  • Push for product and integration improvements based on repeated merchant problems and feedback.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in technical consulting, integrations or software engineering.
  • Strong grasp of APIs and comfort working on both frontend and backend systems.
  • Able to make calls when the situation is unclear.
  • Clear communicator who leads technical discussions and earns trust with technical and business people.
  • Self-starter who drives projects through to completion.
  • Practical mindset that favours solutions that work and scale.
  • Share best practice regularly so the team improves and merchant integrations stay reliable and high quality.

Conditions

Based in the Sydney office; the company is office-first, values in-person work and does not offer remote-only roles.

Expect a reply within 5 business days and an interview process of about 4 weeks, which may vary by role.

Ask for more flexibility in the process if you need it.

Many women and underrepresented candidates apply only if they meet 100% of the qualifications; the company encourages you to apply regardless.
