Description

The company builds autonomous defence platforms and AI-driven software for NATO Allies and their partners, designed to run in harsh conditions.

The team works in an AI-native way and turns hard defence problems into field-tested solutions that span several domains.

This role owns the end-to-end data pipelines and tooling for the company's autonomous defence systems across several product lines.

Your work lets engineering teams make faster decisions and test and deploy continuously.

The software you build helps protect personnel and supports European and national sovereignty.

You would work with specialists on autonomous systems, advanced propulsion and secure cyber platforms.

Good ideas get real R&D support.

Responsibilities

  • Work with hardware, embedded and software engineers to define data models, interface specifications and telemetry schemas.
  • Tune pipelines for throughput, memory use and sub-second execution in mission-critical settings.
  • Set up data quality checks, monitoring and alerting to catch anomalies and operational issues early.
  • Hold to strict engineering practice: unit tests, CI/CD and clear technical documentation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in similar relevant roles.
  • Strong skills in a modern language such as Python, Rust or Go.
  • Hands-on experience building scalable data pipelines and processing systems.
  • Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases and object storage.

  • A record of handling high-volume telemetry, sensor streams or video processing.
  • Experience building developer tooling, CLI utilities and automated CI/CD workflows.
  • A practical problem solver with a solid base in software engineering and distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and data science concepts and applications.
  • Experience with containers and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with defence, aerospace or robotics applications.
  • Eligibility to obtain a German / NATO security clearance; EU or NATO citizenship is required under national security regulations.
