Description

The company was set up in 1968 in Switzerland and is owned by its partners. It has offices across Europe and Asia and works as a global transformation partner with a strong focus on engineering and innovation.

Its teams cover tech strategy and business innovation, digital solutions and applications, and device and systems engineering. It has particular depth in regulated sectors such as health and finance.

The company helps clients run well today while preparing for future markets, customers and communities. If you share its values and want to work at global scale, you can help shape its next stage.

Responsibilities

  • Guide customers through complex data challenges, from modernising data platforms and setting up governance to getting real business value from AI.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior technical stakeholders by running workshops and architecture reviews, building proofs of concept, and helping customers assess new technologies.
  • Help customers define their data strategy, whether that means cloud modernisation, a lakehouse, real-time data or readiness for AI, and guide them to decisions they can carry out.
  • Design architectures that are practical, maintainable and valuable, and stay involved through implementation so they work in production.
  • Join early customer conversations, spot opportunities, shape solutions, contribute to bids and proposals, and present pitches.
  • Explain complex data and AI topics in business terms.
  • Build AI systems that are traceable, transparent and governed, so they stay reliable and responsible in production.
  • Apply agile and DevOps practices where they add value, and base architecture decisions on modern data architectures, security, governance and operating models.
  • Mentor colleagues and grow data and AI capability across the company.

Requirements

  • Have delivered customer data projects at scale, understand the trade-offs involved, and know what works in practice.
  • Turn complex problems into clear direction, bring structure to ambiguous situations, and help teams work through trade-offs.
  • Connect technical solutions to business value and enjoy engaging with customers early.
  • Have contributed to bids, proposals and pitches, shaping solution narratives and estimating delivery effort.
  • Have written code, built data models and managed pipelines, with experience in Azure and/or AWS, modern data platforms, distributed processing, data modelling, API design, containerisation, serverless computing, data governance and metadata management.
  • Experience with Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow) is a plus.
  • Explain complex topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences in German and English.
  • Take ownership of your work, balance technical excellence with pragmatic delivery, and work on your own initiative.
  • Hold a degree in Computer Science or a comparable field.
  • If you do not meet every requirement, the company still wants to hear about your ambitions and ideas.

Conditions

Flexible working hours, with up to three days per week working from home, depending on client needs.

A safe and healthy workplace.

All backgrounds are welcome, and the company does not discriminate on any protected characteristic.

Benefits

  • A profit share that may be paid on top of your annual salary, based on the company's success in the previous year.
  • Membership of a global community across 16 offices, with annual team camps, year-end parties and local celebrations.
  • Investment in your development, helping you build the skills to make a positive impact for yourself and for clients, now and in the future.
