Description

The company builds a commercial strategy platform for hospitality that uses AI. It takes very large hotel data sets and turns them into real-time intelligence that hotel operators use to act on revenue decisions.

The company has raised $370M in Series C funding and has more than $100M in ARR. It has over 850 staff across 35 countries and serves tens of thousands of hotels in 185 countries, including every one of the top 15 global chains.

The role sits in the Engineering team, is based in Spain, and is full-time and remote.

You will join one of the Integration Engineering teams, a group of about 6-8 data engineers. The team transforms, integrates and stores the large data sources behind the company's BI products, handling over 100TB of data a day and a dataset of more than 3 trillion hotel rates.

  • Model complex domains and write transformation logic that merges separate data sources into high-quality data products.
  • Help move legacy processes onto modern, scalable and stable data architecture.
  • Support and troubleshoot live integrations, diagnosing issues on both the hotel and internal side and keeping stakeholders informed during incidents.
  • Improve pipeline reliability and data quality through deeper observability, automated testing and automation.
  • Work closely with product, engineering, support and business teams, as well as customers and partners.
  • Dig into code and systems to find the root cause of complex technical problems.
  • Use AI and automation to speed up engineering work, simplify complex debugging and take on repetitive tasks.
  • Work on a mix of new greenfield data engineering and stabilising and improving existing pipelines.

Requirements

  • Experience building and maintaining production data pipelines, and an growing interest in shaping the architecture around them.
  • Take pride in your software from initial design through production monitoring and continuous improvement.
  • Professional-level Python for large-scale data processing and pipeline development.
  • Strong knowledge of data cloud technologies and hands-on work with a major cloud platform such as GCP, AWS or Azure.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to ship high-quality code faster and think ahead as a builder.
  • Fluent English and strong communication skills, able to discuss technical details and explain complex data flows to technical stakeholders.
  • Nice to have: knowledge of complex hospitality data domains.
  • Technologies you will work with: Python, dbt, airflow, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, Spanner, Pub/Sub, Kubernetes, Claude.
