Description

The company makes DRAM, NAND and NOR memory and storage products. Its Edge Devices Group builds and supports memory and storage solutions for edge and embedded systems.

The group works with design, validation, firmware, quality and customer-facing engineers to keep products reliable and high-performing for industrial, automotive, consumer and embedded customers.

You would join the team that gives technical customer support for non-volatile memory (NVM) products. This is an entry-level role for someone with a solid technical background who is keen on failure analysis, product quality and reliability engineering.

You will look into issues customers report, help find root causes, and work with other teams to improve quality and stop problems from coming back.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate electrical failures, drive root cause analysis and coordinate corrective actions with other engineering groups.
  • Work with Quality Assurance on customer returns to establish root cause and corrective action.
  • Plan, run and track verification activities, and assess risk at every decision point in the verification cycle.
  • Define requirements for verification test programs and sequences from specifications and application usage models.
  • Write test plans and support laboratory testing.
  • Report data clearly, with brief comments on findings.
  • Help build DFMEA, DFT and DFM deliverables with cross-functional teams.
  • Improve product quality and reliability through test development and generative AI.
  • Support development and execution of test firmware (TFW) for production, FA and NAND verification.
  • Build and maintain a thorough understanding of product functionality.
  • Help develop software and hardware tools using AI automation.
  • Build working relationships with design, validation and firmware teams.
  • Work with the marketing application engineering team on application notes, risk assessment and datasheet errata.

Requirements

  • You hold a master's degree in electronics, telecommunications, computer engineering or a related field.
  • You are analytical and good at solving problems.
  • You understand the basics of electronics and semiconductor devices.
  • You communicate well and work well in a team.
  • Preferred: you have experience with memory technologies such as NAND, SSD, eMMC and UFS.
  • Preferred: you are familiar with Linux and AI scripting using Claude Code and Python.
  • Preferred: you have a basic grasp of quality tools such as 8D and root cause analysis.

Conditions

The company estimates its base salary range for this full-time role at 000,00 € to 57.000,00 € per year, B2 CCNL level.

Pay depends on role, level and location. The range shows the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hires. Individual pay depends on location, knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and education or training, and may change with business needs. A recruiter can share more about the range.
