Responsibilities

  • Set the direction for the next phase of lifecycle marketing across prospect and customer audiences, with a clear vision, priorities and a roadmap tied to measurable business results.
  • Hire, onboard and grow a high-performing lifecycle team, setting clear ownership and operating rhythms and building a culture of strategy, innovation, accountability and ongoing growth.
  • Own and improve programs covering prospect nurturing, onboarding, activation, adoption, engagement and expansion, and link them into connected customer journeys.
  • Build and scale adoption programs that help customers find, start using and get value from the growing product and AI portfolio, with particular focus on new AI capabilities.
  • Work with Product, Product Marketing, Customer Success and Revenue teams to find adoption blockers, learn what customers need and build targeted programs that shorten time-to-value and lift retention and expansion.
  • Lead audience strategy, segmentation and personalized journeys using behavioral, account-level and product usage data.
  • Create a lifecycle measurement framework that ties conversion, pipeline, adoption, engagement, retention and expansion to business outcomes, then turn findings into recommendations and clear stories for senior leaders.
  • Build a culture of testing, with roadmaps that challenge assumptions and improve performance across audiences, journeys and channels.
  • Lead internal initiatives that use the company's own platform, working with Product and Product Marketing to show engagement best practices and inform product development.
  • Promote thoughtful use of AI and new technology in lifecycle work, to improve personalization, speed up testing, increase efficiency and find new ways to engage customers.
  • Work with Integrated Campaigns, Regional Marketing and other Demand Generation teams on prospect nurture that lifts engagement, conversion and pipeline, aligned with go-to-market priorities.
  • Partner with Customer Advocacy and Community teams to create coordinated customer experiences that deepen engagement and reinforce the value customers get.
  • Put scalable processes, systems and cross-functional ways of working in place so the team delivers well, focuses on high-impact work and keeps evolving as the business grows.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in lifecycle, customer, CRM, growth or related marketing, including building and leading high-performing teams.
  • A record of developing and scaling programs that drive prospect conversion, product adoption, engagement, retention and expansion, ideally at a global B2B SaaS company.
  • A strong grasp of SaaS customer journeys from onboarding through expansion, and experience turning product capabilities into customer value.
  • Experience building adoption and engagement programs with Product, Product Marketing and Customer Success. Familiarity with AI-powered products and changing SaaS portfolios is highly desirable.
  • Deep skill in audience segmentation, personalization, journey orchestration, experimentation and lifecycle analytics, turning complex data into clear actions.
  • Experience with engagement and marketing automation platforms, such as the company's own platform or Marketo, and with email, in-app, SMS and other lifecycle channels.
  • Ability to set up measurement frameworks and meaningful KPIs, and to show lifecycle marketing's effect on pipeline, customer value, retention and growth.
  • Strong executive communication: you can explain strategy, influence senior stakeholders and align cross-functional teams around shared priorities.
  • Hands-on use of AI marketing tools to improve personalization, experimentation, efficiency and team productivity.
  • A strategic, data-driven leader who believes great customer experiences drive sustainable growth, and who can connect product innovation to customer value.
  • A builder and people leader who develops talent, sets clear priorities and creates the structure and culture a team needs.
  • A curious, analytical and collaborative marketer who challenges conventional approaches and can set a vision while staying close enough to execution to guide decisions and solve problems.
