Description

The company runs a customer engagement platform that helps marketing teams send cross-channel messages and orchestrate customer journeys, and it is growing quickly on a global scale.

The Data Division is responsible for all of the company's data products and is shaping how customers model, send and manage data on the platform.

The division's goal is to let customers model, send and manage all the data they need to run campaigns and Canvases across the full engagement stack.

You will work on how customers integrate with the platform and send it information, including the user data model, custom attributes and events, data ingestion and catalog data.

Your research will pick out the highest-impact problems, and you will design a data model that is easy to manage, trustworthy and flexible enough for sophisticated engagement strategies.

The team values high standards, teamwork, autonomy, accountability and openness to new perspectives, and it works to advance equity and opportunity inside and outside the company.

Responsibilities

  • Define and design high-impact features and refine the experience for projects that improve how customers integrate with the platform and send it information.
  • Design experiences that let marketers build cross-channel digital experiences and launch engagement strategies quickly, without heavy engineering effort.
  • Work closely with product managers, UX researchers, product analysts, technical writers, engineers and other product designers to make the product easier and more enjoyable to use.
  • Run user research and usability tests to validate your decisions, including working directly with customers on their campaign creation workflows to reduce complexity and add capability.
  • Produce high-fidelity prototypes and detailed interaction specifications so engineers can build features that perform reliably at enterprise scale.
  • Help build and evolve the design system, creating patterns and components that stay consistent across messaging and orchestration while suiting workflow-based interfaces.
  • Consider how each feature connects to the wider platform, designing for existing tools and for future product changes and customer growth.
  • Present concepts and reasoning to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership, help shape the roadmap, and argue for choices that balance user needs, business goals and technical limits.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product design experience, with a strong record designing complex digital products.
  • Experience working within established design systems, and a sense of how to balance consistency with new ideas in enterprise software.
  • A systems mindset: you see how features connect, handle technical complexity, and work with engineers on constraints to propose solutions that are both usable and buildable.
  • A research-led process: you ask why users behave as they do and what the business needs, use findings to make decisions, and measure results against real user outcomes.
  • A strong cross-functional partner who builds relationships, influences roadmaps, and explains concepts through visuals and clear verbal storytelling.
  • Craft across interaction design, visual design and prototyping, especially detailed interfaces for complex information and workflows, with attention to micro-interactions and information hierarchy.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with thorough documentation, clean handoffs to engineering, comfort in ambiguous problem spaces, and the ability to split hard problems into manageable pieces.
  • A portfolio of complex application or workflow work that shows how your decisions improved user outcomes and business metrics, and that explains your process, constraints and impact.
  • Bonus: experience designing marketing automation, customer engagement or campaign management tools.
  • Bonus: background in enterprise SaaS products, particularly those serving marketing or business operations teams.
  • Bonus: experience designing integration or data-mapping experiences for technical or semi-technical users, such as developers or technical marketers configuring custom data.
  • Bonus: familiarity with how data flows between systems (APIs, webhooks, data pipelines), and enough comfort reading code or technical documentation to work closely with engineers.
  • Bonus: experience working in agile development environments with cross-functional product teams.
  • Bonus: strong fluency with AI tools for prototyping and exploring design concepts.
