Description

The company is part of DoorDash following a merger with the company, and you may work with teams across DoorDash and Wolt.

The People Technology team in London is hiring a Business Systems Analyst to support Workday Time Tracking and/or Absence Management.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Workforce Management and act as the subject-matter expert on how time and absence are configured in the Workday tenant, turning business needs into scalable configuration.

The interview process typically has 3-4 stages.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and document requirements, configure Time Tracking and/or Absence Management, and adapt the setup to new business needs, acquisitions or divestitures, and regulatory changes.
  • Build and maintain functional designs and configuration workbooks, write and run unit, integration, regression and UAT test scripts, and assess the impact of Workday's biannual releases.
  • Work with HR, Payroll and business stakeholders to check that time and absence data flows correctly into pay calculations, and support integrations with workforce-management tools, time clocks, scheduling tools and absence vendors.
  • Provide Tier 2 production support by investigating escalated technical and configuration issues such as missed punches, incorrect accruals, calculation errors and approval-routing problems, and escalate to Tier 3 or Workday support when needed.
  • Review recurring support issues, find root causes, and recommend proactive configuration fixes or process changes that improve reliability and the end-user experience.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, job aids and training materials, and keep ticket response and resolution within agreed service levels.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of hands-on Workday configuration experience in Time Tracking and/or Absence Management.
  • A solid understanding of Workday business processes, security groups and calculated fields as they apply to Time Tracking and Absence.
  • Experience gathering requirements, writing functional specifications and turning them into configuration.
  • Experience designing and running test scripts, coordinating UAT and completing regression testing.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, including resolving complex configuration, business-process and integration issues in a Tier 2 support setting.
  • Experience with a ticketing system such as Jira, and the ability to balance project work with production-support requests.
  • Clear, confident communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Nice to have: Core HCM experience, Workday Time Tracking and/or Absence Management certification, or experience with Legion, Calabrio, Deputy, time-clock or device integrations, third-party absence vendors, multi-country configurations or agile delivery.
