Description

Our Global Structure

Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.

About the Role

There’s a lot behind a morning coffee order. You could be part of it.

A local café, a courier on the way and a customer ready to start their day. At Deliveroo, we connect people with the food, shops and products they love.

As a Graduate Product Designer, you’ll work at the intersection of data, design, and engineering, helping define how millions of people experience Deliveroo and turning complex marketplace challenges into simple, high-impact solutions. This is a full-time role based in our London HQ.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be joining one of our core teams: Consumer, Merchant, Dasher, Ads & Promos, or Customer Experience & Integrity. You’ll work on real projects that impact millions of customers, merchants, and Riders, collaborating with Product, Research, Data, and Engineering to prototype your concepts, test with real users, and ship improvements to millions of people.

You’ll learn from designers shaping this new practice - one where AI is native to how you explore ideas, prototype, and ship.

You’ll grow faster than you thought possible - with a dedicated manager, a mentor, and a team invested in your development, you’ll quickly grow to own design end-to-end.

You’ll experiment with how AI can change the way you work and design processes, and ship polished features that reach millions of users, merchants, and Riders.

You’ll use AI to explore divergent directions, build high-fidelity prototypes, and pressure-test ideas before they ship, leveraging this technology to help you shape how our product becomes smarter, more intuitive, and more human.

You’ll have the opportunity to push the boundaries of our product and process. As part of an early class of new graduates, what you figure out won’t just shape your own projects - it’ll shape how design is practiced across the team.

You’ll refine your craft with mentors and peers in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment that values curiosity, craft, and collaboration.

You’ll collaborate closely with designers, engineers, PMs, and researchers to find the right problems to solve and ensure high-quality implementation.

Requirements

  • We’re looking for strong design foundations and curiosity to grow. Here’s what you’ll need to join us and thrive in the role:
  • You’re in your final year of study, graduating with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design or a technology-related field (e.g. Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Computer Science, Digital Design, Industrial Design, etc) and available to start full-time in 2027.
  • You have a portfolio (school, internships, or side projects) that shows strong design fundamentals - visual design, interaction design, and user-centered problem solving.
  • AI is already part of your process and your portfolio includes at least one case study showing how you applied AI in your design process or designed an AI-powered experience.
  • You communicate through prototypes - using Figma alongside AI-driven tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) to turn ideas into working experiences quickly.
  • You’re excited to learn, comfortable making decisions or asking for help, and able to iterate quickly as you incorporate feedback.

Benefits

  • At Deliveroo, you’ll do work that matters - solving real-world problems in a three-sided marketplace that’s constantly evolving. You’ll be paired with a dedicated manager and a mentor while being supported by a community of designers passionate about learning and helping each other grow.
  • We’re food lovers, problem solvers, community builders and more, brought together by a shared drive to make things better. Working here you can expect to:
  • Solve meaningful problems at real scale
  • Work on a complex, always-on marketplace that impacts millions every day.
  • See your impact, fast
  • Ship, test and improve ideas quickly in a low-hierarchy, high-ownership
  • environment.
  • Grow through challenge and ownership
  • Take on big, ambiguous problems and accelerate your career with strong support.
  • A culture built for builders
  • High standards, collaboration, flexible working and continuous learning.
