Description

The team is the Global Send Experience team, which works on Send, the company's original product for sending money across borders and within a country.

The goal is to make transfers feel effortless. Your analysis will guide choices that reach millions of customers and billions in money moved.

The company is adding new ways for people to move money across borders. You will help find where customers need those options and help turn them into products. You will work with the Product Manager and Engineering Lead on strategy and feature priorities, and stay involved from early ideas through launch and worldwide rollout. The role involves building the next stage of Send from the beginning.

The company is a global technology company that helps people and businesses move and manage money, including sending money abroad, spending overseas, and making international payments.

Responsibilities

  • Help the team learn how people send money now, where the current experience breaks down, and which new cross-border methods customers would use.
  • Combine customer, product and market data to spot friction in sending and new cross-border use cases the company could support.
  • Work with Product Managers, Engineers and other Analysts to estimate the size of opportunities, test assumptions and help the team decide what to prioritize.
  • Define success measures for your area, track how they move, and make sure the team can rely on the underlying data.
  • Design and analyze experiments and other evaluations to show whether product changes actually help customers.
  • Turn your analysis into clear recommendations, lay out the trade-offs, and help the team act on what it learns.

Requirements

  • Strong SQL skills and experience with large, complex datasets.
  • Experience using data to guide product decisions, from defining a problem and sizing an opportunity to measuring results.
  • A solid grounding in experimentation and statistics, applied in a product setting.
  • Python or R experience, which is useful.
  • Ability to explain complex findings clearly and adapt recommendations to different audiences.
  • Curiosity about customer behavior and the judgment to separate a useful insight from an interesting number.
  • Experience helping launch a new product, feature or product line.
  • Experience with analytics tools such as Looker, Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience improving data instrumentation or building reliable transformations and pipelines.
