Description

The company is hiring a Senior Product Analytics Manager to set analytics direction for its Global Send Experience Squad, which works on how the company grows its global money transfer business. Today that business handles 5% of all cross-border transfers in the world for personal customers.

The role covers the whole customer lifecycle, from a first transfer through to decisions made by returning customers. You will work with Product, Design and Engineering on discovery across remittances, building a clear picture of customer needs, finding the largest opportunities and shaping a product strategy from them. Price, speed and convenience are the main factors you will influence.

You will lead a group of senior analysts, setting their direction and helping the squad make its most important strategic calls. You will coach them to work closely with product teams on everyday questions, and stay personally involved in the most complex and high-stakes opportunities.

Questions the role will help answer include where the biggest growth opportunities in money transfers are, what drives customers' choices about where, when and how to send money, how price, speed and convenience affect behaviour, how an AI-powered concierge could help customers find and complete the right transfer, how to improve the experience for new and returning customers, which customer problems matter most for growth and customer value, and how to focus product strategy to grow money transfer revenue 10x over the next few years.

Responsibilities

  • Set the squad's strategic direction by working with Product, Design and Engineering to form a clear view of customer needs, market opportunities and the next choices for the company.
  • Lead discovery by studying customer behaviour and the full transfer journey to find unmet needs, friction and growth. Focus on where acting would have the greatest effect, not only on what is happening.
  • Analyse how customers weigh price, speed and convenience when choosing how to send money, for both new and returning customers.
  • Size customer and commercial opportunities, form clear views and help teams make focused, evidence-based decisions about what to build and why.
  • Lead and develop senior analysts: set a high standard for analytical thinking and impact, coach them on their work and careers, and enable them to support their teams.
  • Coach analysts to work with their product teams, feed useful insights into planning and discovery, and help teams learn from product changes and customer behaviour.
  • Work directly on high-impact or ambiguous questions and guide complex analysis when strategic stakes are high.
  • Explain complex evidence clearly, influence senior stakeholders and help cross-functional teams turn strategic choices into action.

Requirements

  • Experience leading and developing strong analytics teams that include experienced or senior analysts.
  • A record of shaping product strategy and business direction through analytics.
  • Strong product and commercial judgement, linking customer needs, product choices, growth and sustainable economics.
  • Experience leading discovery and finding high-value opportunities in ambiguous problem spaces.
  • Deep understanding of product analytics and customer behaviour across acquisition, conversion and retention.
  • Expertise in quantitative evidence, including experimentation and causal analysis, and the judgement to know when the most valuable work is defining the right problem or opportunity.
  • Strong technical analytics skills, including SQL, and the ability to guide reliable, high-quality analytics work.
  • Excellent communication: you make complex ideas clear, form a point of view and bring people with you.
  • The ability to set long-term direction while staying close enough to the work to help teams progress.
  • An interest in international payments and the needs of people sending money across borders.
