Description

The company is a luxury group whose brands make jewelry, watches and high-end accessories.

Each brand keeps its own style and craft tradition, while the group keeps designing new products that fit those brands.

In the W&J Industrial Department, you will back the leadership team on strategic papers, performance tracking and cross-functional projects, with a focus on data analytics, performance monitoring and digital tools.

You will act as a trusted partner to leadership: turning data into useful insight, producing analyses for decisions, and preparing executive material from complex data.

You will combine analytical skills with solid use of digital tools, business intelligence and approved AI solutions to make analysis and decisions faster and better across W&J Industrial Management.

Early priorities are organizing the department's data, building reliable KPIs and setting up reporting that is increasingly automated. As you learn the business, you will help monitor and coordinate strategic initiatives.

If your application is selected, you will get a short introductory call. Interviews include meeting people who will matter in the role.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, merge, clean and organize data from several sources.
  • Map current data sources and reporting routines, then set consistent structures and definitions across the department.
  • Keep the department's internal folder structure and shared documents orderly, current and easy to find.
  • Run quantitative and qualitative analyses to spot trends, gaps and room for improvement.
  • Create and refine KPIs and dashboards for performance monitoring.
  • Make sure data is reliable, consistent, accessible and traceable.
  • Build charts and visuals that make findings clear.
  • Build and automate data consolidation, reporting and analysis tools to cut manual effort.
  • Improve performance management tools on an ongoing basis.
  • Help leadership prepare meetings, performance reviews and strategy papers.
  • Follow up on priority projects and action plans.
  • Collect information across functions and the manufacturing units (MCCs).
  • Track selected cross-functional projects.
  • Over time, take on a larger role in coordinating and following up strategic initiatives as your knowledge grows.
  • Build PowerPoint decks for Management Committees, the Executive Committee or General Management.
  • Turn complicated information into simple, structured, visually strong messages.
  • Help draft executive summaries, strategy memos and decision-support documents.
  • Organize content to show key issues, risks, opportunities and recommendations.
  • Hold deliverables to a high standard of visual and editorial quality.
  • Use data visualization and BI tools to produce clear, reliable management reports.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or equivalent from a business school, engineering school or university, ideally with an analytical or data focus.
  • Two to five years of experience in consulting, business analysis, BI, strategy, management control or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills, curiosity, rigor and good organization.
  • Comfortable with complex datasets, turning scattered information into structured, reliable, actionable insight.
  • Excellent written communication and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Autonomous, proactive, discreet and service-minded, with a strong focus on internal customers.
  • Collaborative, able to work with stakeholders at every level, and keen to learn new skills.
  • Keen to take on more strategic project monitoring and coordination over time.
  • Strong interest in digital tools and AI, and enjoy exploring, building and improving analytical solutions.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, Copilot and related tools.
  • Highly valued: advanced Excel and hands-on work with data structuring, Power Query and Power BI.
  • Advantage: SQL, Python, Looker, GCP or other BI and automation tools.
