Senior Data Analyst

Description

The role sits in the Sample Preparation and Analysis group, which builds and maintains software that automates the operation of scanning electron microscopes. Customers in the semiconductor industry use this software to find production errors in semiconductor components.

You will join an international group of scientists, software developers and engineers and support the development of instrument software. Your analysis will help make instruments more robust, speed up research and development, and inform design decisions.

Standard Monday to Friday schedule, office-based.

Responsibilities

• Analyze telemetry data to understand the instruments and their processes.
• Build dashboards and reports that help end users make decisions.
• Write Python modules that turn raw data into information people can act on.
• Help design the data infrastructure.

Requirements

• Use Python and Pandas actively.
• Prototype quickly and also deliver production-grade code.
• Work well in a multi-functional team and be willing to help others.
• Be proficient in English, both spoken and written.
• Have a strong background in data analysis.
• Be eager to learn the domain of electron microscopes.
• Have 3+ years of experience with data-oriented work.
