Description

The company's Forensic Technology team supports fraud investigations, builds analytical tools and applications to find wrongdoers, and produces data visualisations.

The work is urgent, so the team works with the newest technologies and keeps changing how it works.

The role is full-time and suits a junior analyst who enjoys data, is curious about scripting and interpreting results, is ready to work through the night now and then, and is willing to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse data from various IT systems and public sources to find trends, links, and signs of fraud or other wrongful conduct.
  • Search for evidence of fraud and abuse inside a company's finance system.
  • Build visualisations in PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, PlotLy or similar tools.
  • Learn to analyse data with advanced digital forensic tools and techniques.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in data analysis, technology, or a science field.
  • A very good command of English.
  • Basic knowledge of at least one of SQL, Python, R, or another scripting or programming language, or of a visualisation tool such as PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Strong teamwork, high ethical standards, and an analytical mindset.
  • Close attention to detail, since fraud is by nature hidden.
  • Willingness to travel, sometimes at short notice.
  • Czech or Slovak is a strong plus.

Conditions

Full-time position.

Travel may be needed on short notice.

Equal pay is guaranteed, and the company is among the few in the Czech Republic certified for Equal Pay.

Benefits

  • Professional growth that fits your ambitions and pace, with experience in months that would take years elsewhere.
  • A flexible benefits programme with 30,000 points to spend on what matters to you.
  • 30 days of paid time off, including three well-being days and two extra days at year end.
  • One paid volunteering day each year.
  • The option to work from one of the firm's international offices, available from Senior Associate level.
  • Training in business skills such as presentation, communication, assertiveness, and giving feedback, plus digital skills including Alteryx, Power BI, and AI.
  • Coverage of professional certification costs, such as CFA.
  • A buddy, regular feedback, and a coach to support your development and career path.
  • Well-being support and healthy-lifestyle initiatives, including Dr. Digital, Human Dynamic programmes, workplace yoga, and running events.
  • An ultrabook and an iPhone with unlimited data.
  • Social events and Away Days.
