This business analyst role sits on the experience team and uses data to support revenue growth, outfitter performance, and program profitability.

You will study market, consumer, and operational data to shape strategic choices and lift results.

You will work with leadership, marketing, finance, and sales to turn findings into recommendations they can act on, and your work will feed into planning, performance tracking, and long-term strategy.

The role includes exposure to senior leaders and projects that span several functions.

Responsibilities

  • Explore data, tools, and mathematical methods to produce useful business insights.
  • Build weekly and monthly insight reports for leadership covering performance tracking, asset utilization, sales trends, ROI, and outfitter performance.
  • Review market, competitor, and internal sales data to find ways to improve performance and profit.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packs, including operating review summaries and recommendations for leadership.
  • Use external databases to evaluate outfitter sales and asset utilization, and offer findings that support rental and revenue growth.
  • Work with marketing and sales to study consumer behavior across the customer journey and guide planning, offer improvements, and marketing programs.
  • Help keep reporting consistent by standardizing data design, report templates, and how datasets are organized.
  • Lead or contribute to short- and long-term improvement projects, including writing business cases and coordinating work.
  • Attend industry events to collect market and customer insights and bring them into your analysis.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, D&IT, finance, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience writing SQL queries, modeling data, and using data visualization tools.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in business analytics.
  • Experience with Snowflake and Python.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, including quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Clear written, verbal, and presentation communication.
  • Ability to influence and work with colleagues across functions and seniority levels.
  • Some travel may be required, up to 10 percent.
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
  • The starting pay range in Minnesota is $73,200 to $96,100 per year. Actual pay within the range depends on factors such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, and location. Starting at the top of the range is uncommon.
  • Desired: data and analytical literacy, meaning you read data and metrics to guide decisions, spot trends, and measure results.
  • Desired: communication, meaning you explain ideas and expectations to varied audiences and adjust your message until it is understood.
  • Desired: collaboration, meaning you work well with people in other functions and at other levels while respecting different views.
