Senior IT Business Analyst – Record to Report

Description

This role supports and improves the IT application portfolio for Finance and Record to Report (R2R) processes at the company. You act as the main link between business stakeholders and IT teams, turning business needs into technology solutions that make financial operations work better. You work with global teams on IT projects, improve existing applications, and help shape the R2R technology roadmap.

The team works on process efficiency, digital change, and steady improvement across the company's Finance organization.

Responsibilities

• Work with Finance process owners and IT teams to gather, analyze, write up, and confirm functional and non-functional requirements for new and existing R2R applications.
• Build business process models, use cases, and functional specifications that match business needs, technical designs, and the company's IT standards.
• Serve as the key contact between business stakeholders, IT architecture, development teams, and service owners to keep communication flowing and projects on track.
• Review current Finance processes, applications, and data issues to find chances for process improvement, automation, and better technology.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), support training, and help Finance teams adopt new IT solutions successfully.
• Support the IT R2R Service Owner with application support, issue resolution, service improvements, and ongoing optimization of IT services.
• Help build the R2R application portfolio strategy, including roadmap work, application lifecycle management, and upkeep of the company's application repository.
• Work with IT service owners, architecture, and procurement teams to assess future technologies, define requirements, and support technology selection.

Requirements

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field.
• At least 3 years of IT experience in a multinational organization, ideally supporting Finance or R2R business processes.
• A solid grasp of Finance IT solutions and R2R processes, covering Financial Accounting, Financial Planning, Treasury, Tax, Indirect Tax, and e-compliance such as e-invoicing and SAF-T.
• Experience with Finance applications such as SAP, HighRadius, Trintech Cadency, Oracle Hyperion, or SOVOS e-compliance solutions is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), ITIL, IT infrastructure services, IT audit and compliance, and service management tools such as ServiceNow.
• Hands-on experience in business analysis, requirements management, process modelling, gap analysis, testing, and IT project delivery. Six Sigma knowledge or CBAP certification is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation skills. You can influence business leaders, juggle several priorities, and work well in a global matrix organization.
