Description

The Dublin site, Red Oak North, is the commercial head office for the Animal Health and Human Health businesses. It also hosts global and national support functions, including Clinical Research, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Sales, Policy and Communications, and Marketing.

The team is hiring a Business Insights and Analytics Lead to turn complicated data into commercial direction across the Oncology and Pharma and Vaccines business units. You will advise business leaders on forecasting, pricing and access, pipeline decisions, launch preparation and how resources are allocated.

Responsibilities

  • Forecasting and planning: work with the Oncology and Pharma and Vaccines teams to build and check forecast models every cycle, applying your knowledge of Irish market conditions, patient pathways, access assumptions and local forecasting details.
  • Build selected forecasts for priority assets, document the assumptions clearly, and hand ownership to the business as launch nears, transferring skills as you go.
  • Help local teams adopt shared forecasting standards gradually and build their own capability.
  • Reuse relevant UK models where sensible, changing pricing, access, epidemiology and market inputs for Ireland instead of building new ones from scratch.
  • Act as the local administrative contact for primary market research, running the work in line with governance, GDPR and company standards.
  • Manage relationships with IQVIA, wholesalers and other local partners who supply key business insight data.
  • Keep regular contact with UK and global Data, Digital and Analytics partners to share standards, reuse solutions and get specialist help.
  • Stay embedded in the Irish organisation and answerable to it, so analytics reflect local business context and turn into commercial value.
  • Build multi-scenario pricing, access and commercial models to support strategic planning.
  • Create commercially sound models for investment decisions and go-to-market design.
  • Set out assumptions, sensitivities, risks and recommendations clearly so senior leaders can decide quickly on the evidence.
  • Bring Medical, Market Access, Commercial, Finance and other partners into line on pipeline priorities and launch assumptions.
  • Contribute to cross-functional teams assessing pipeline and early launch assets with one consistent framework: unmet need, benefit against standard of care, HTA and reimbursement likelihood, commercial potential and health system readiness.
  • Produce clear executive swim lane roadmaps that inform long-range prioritisation and show how the portfolio will change.
  • Drive uptake of modern analytics and forecasting tools.
  • Work through local, regional and cross-functional dependencies to deliver commercial solutions.
  • Design and run training, workshops and town halls that build confidence in analytics, improve self-service and embed new ways of working.

Requirements

  • You are likely to hold a relevant degree, or equivalent experience, in business, economics, science, STEM or data analytics.
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to turn complex data into clear advice for senior leaders.
  • Experience in forecasting, scenario modelling, performance analytics and insight work in a regulated sector. Solid planning and project management, with attention to accuracy, compliance and delivery.
  • Strong data literacy: validation, governance, source reconciliation and constructive challenge.
  • Clear communicator and facilitator who can influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Required skills: analytical thinking, analytics, cross-functional teamwork, direct marketing, global strategy development, leadership, market development, market research techniques, statistical analysis and strategic forecasting.
  • Preferred, but not essential: a solid understanding of the Irish healthcare environment, including HSE decision-making, pricing and reimbursement, HTA and IPHA considerations.
  • Preferred, but not essential: hands-on experience with Irish pharmaceutical data sources and partners, including IQVIA, wholesaler and compounder data.
  • Preferred skills: data analytics and strategic planning.

Conditions

Based at the Red Oak North site in Dublin on a regular employment basis.

Hybrid working: the company has introduced a new hybrid model for office-based staff worldwide, and you can discuss what flexibility means to you during your application.

The posting does not state whether visa sponsorship is offered.

Applications close on 11/16/2026; the posting is effective until 11:59 PM on 11/15/2026.
