The role sits in the AI Infra Stream and focuses on the AI services behind customers' Data and AI platforms.

Responsibilities

• You will create, ship and upkeep the AI services that run customers' Data and AI platforms, keeping them scalable, governable and secure.
• You will bring new AI infrastructure components and features into shape as enterprise-ready standards.
• You will work with enterprise architecture, security, risk, data governance and platform teams to turn banking regulatory requirements into design decisions.
• You will help developer teams that consume AI services by sharing your knowledge of infrastructure, AI and platform architecture.
• Design and Build: You will build scalable AI infrastructure to strict enterprise standards, with security by design, networking, privacy and auditability in mind.
• Templates: You will produce automated templates and reference implementations that make AI infrastructure easier and more consistent to use.
• Cloud platform: You will design and implement scalable cloud-native solutions that connect Azure AI services with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and related platforms.
• Automation: You will build and maintain reliable CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery) pipelines for the platform.

Requirements

• You have a track record in platform engineering and in designing scalable, cloud-native infrastructure.
• You have hands-on depth with Azure AI services and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• You have worked with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Bicep, and with development environments such as VSCode.
• You can manage and work across data platforms such as Databricks and Unity Catalog.
• You have extensive experience building CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps Repositories and Pipelines.
• You understand IT governance, security by design and compliance in highly regulated environments such as banking.
• You communicate clearly and collaborate well, staying goal-oriented and flexible.
• You have a growth mindset and want to drive your own professional development.
• You put customer success first in your work.
• You work openly with people from different backgrounds.
• Preferred: You have worked directly on financial or banking IT infrastructure projects.
• Preferred: You hold advanced industry certifications in Microsoft Azure Architecture or AI Engineering.
• Preferred: You know MLOps principles and have deployed large language models (LLMs) in enterprise settings.
• Preferred: You have built a portfolio of reference architectures and automation templates for developer enablement.
