(760) Data Analyst

Description

The company is an IT consulting firm that delivers technology solutions to its customers, working in partnership with its consultants.

This role is a data analyst position on the GPC Program.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a sturdy, simple-to-use metrics and reporting system for every domain, built on data gathered through GPC Assessments.
• Serve leaders at all levels, internal and external, with standard reports and interactive analysis for ad hoc questions that support informed decisions.
• Use visualization tools that are clear and easy for any user to read, across all domains.
• Spot system upgrades and new capabilities, and prepare concept demonstrators and capability business cases.
• Train users when new systems and capabilities go into operational use.
• Represent the GPC Program on technical teams or consortiums.

Requirements

• Familiarity with MS Office and data mining, and the ability to build, manipulate and maintain data.
• Proven use of COTS statistical software such as SPSS, SAS or MatLab, COTS desktop software such as MS Office and Access, and the Windows environment.
• Proven experience with advanced statistical analysis packages for operational data and with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Ability to develop mathematical algorithms and applications for complex requirements.
• Ability to identify system enhancements and new capabilities, and to write concept demonstrators and capability business cases.
• Ability to train users as systems and capabilities move into operational use.
• Ability to lead roles on technical teams or consortiums.
• Good oral and written communication, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work cooperatively and effectively as a team member.
• Desired: experience working on certification programs and policy development.
