Description

This full-time Information Technology role is a regular position supporting enterprise business applications for a federal government customer.

The team maintains a set of business applications that run financial, acquisition, and logistics work. Staff work with stakeholders to pin down business problems, weigh possible solutions, put new capabilities in place, and keep improving how the systems support the customer's operations.

The work aims to make operations more efficient, improve accountability and auditability, help meet compliance rules, and automate more of the core business processes.

You will build knowledge of both business operations and enterprise technology. Over time you can become a key voice on future enhancements and modernization of the systems you know well.

The role suits someone who enjoys working out how organizations run, spotting ways to improve them, and matching business needs to what a system can do.

Responsibilities

  • Turn operational needs into system capabilities that improve efficiency, accountability, and mission effectiveness.
  • Analyze, design, configure, and improve enterprise business systems that support financial, acquisition, and logistics operations.
  • Build and check solutions through requirements analysis, functional design, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Design reports, interfaces, and other capabilities that increase automation, simplify business processes, and make users more effective.
  • Grow your knowledge of business processes and system functions so you can guide solution choices and identify where to improve.
  • Write documentation, training materials, and knowledge resources that help users adopt new capabilities.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizen holding an active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years supporting, implementing, or modernizing enterprise IT systems. Additional direct, relevant experience can be substituted for the degree.
  • Experience analyzing business processes and turning business needs into functional requirements, system capabilities, and solution designs.
  • Experience supporting enterprise system enhancements, implementations, and upgrades, including validating solutions and testing.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. You can work independently and quickly learn new business processes and system capabilities.
  • Ability to work onsite inside a secure customer environment.
  • Desired:
  • Experience supporting federal government business operations in financial management, acquisitions, or logistics.
  • Experience with Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) business applications or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Experience with CGI Momentum, CGI Sunflower, or similar enterprise business systems.

Conditions

Minimum clearance to start is Top Secret.

Work is onsite in a secure customer environment. No travel is required.

Salary depends on factors including geographic location, federal government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant prior experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

The proposed salary range is $86,600 - $181,800.

Benefits

  • Flexible time off that lets you take the time you need.
