Description

The company's supply chain group is seeing rising demand for standard reporting, data automation, and analytics tailored to each site. This junior analyst role adds capacity to deliver accurate, consistent, and scalable analytics.

You will maintain and improve Power BI reporting, check data, support ETL work, and engage with supply chain sites through both virtual sessions and in-person visits.

You will also help with data quality, KPI work, and newer efforts such as forecasting and EDW data ingestion. The role calls for foundational data analysis, communication, and supply chain data knowledge, with Python, SQL, API integration, and enterprise system experience as added strengths.

Responsibilities

  • Build and upkeep Power BI reports across supply chain functions.
  • Help with ETL steps, data checks, and automating routine data jobs.
  • Run data quality reviews and help clear mismatches between linked systems.
  • Work with site staff to identify reporting gaps, usability problems, and chances for new analytics tools.
  • Travel to sites in person to train users on reports, gather requirements, and help with local analytics issues.
  • Help generate and track KPIs, following direction from supply chain leaders.
  • Help develop and maintain detailed data models and forecasting tools.
  • Support API connections, data ingestion, and early EDW pipeline work.
  • Offer ongoing virtual help with report walkthroughs and user questions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to keep data use, reporting standards, and documentation consistent.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI, Excel, and SQL.
  • Basic grasp of ETL, data modeling, and data transformation workflows.
  • Ability to handle large datasets, validate data, and troubleshoot quality issues.
  • Understanding of supply chain terms such as lead times, item master data, order quantities, and category structures.
  • Clear communication with stakeholders at several sites.
  • Ability to document processes, track requirements, and keep recurring reporting running.
  • Interest in building automation skills with Power Query, Python, or similar tools.
  • Ability to work well in a quick-moving setting where priorities change.
  • Careful, precise approach focused on accuracy, consistency, and data integrity.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Desired: experience with API integration, Python scripting, or advanced SQL.
  • Desired: exposure to enterprise systems such as Infor or EDW architectures.
  • Desired: prior work in supply chain analytics or operational reporting.
  • Desired: experience running user feedback sessions, gathering requirements, or assessing report usability.
  • Desired: demonstrated interest in forecasting, predictive analytics, or advanced BI modeling.
