Description

The company is a digital infrastructure business whose goal is to shorten the path to connectivity so that new technologies can improve work, life and the planet.

The role is a senior leadership position reporting to the CMO. It covers global brand strategy and identity, content and storytelling, paid media, social channels and the corporate website, all unified into one clear expression of the company as a platform business.

The leader manages the Brand, Social, Content, Paid Media and Web teams and serves as a strategic content partner to Communications. The role works closely with Revenue Marketing, Product and Technical Marketing, and Field and Partner Marketing so brand and demand efforts support each other.

This is a backfill, filling an existing vacancy.

Responsibilities

  • Set the global brand strategy, identity and creative standards so the company presents one consistent platform identity in every market and channel.
  • Lead the creative and design function and track brand health, awareness and reputation.
  • Commission original research and data-driven analysis to support storytelling across owned, earned and paid channels.
  • Maintain core messaging and editorial standards that Sales, Marketing and demand generation teams use.
  • Own global paid media strategy, budget allocation and agency relationships across digital and offline channels.
  • Measure reach, efficiency and pipeline impact, with clear attribution for brand and demand spending.
  • Run the corporate websites as a main channel for growth, conversion and credibility.
  • Lead site strategy, user experience, SEO and GEO, and ongoing performance improvement.
  • Own social channel strategy, content and engagement across brand and marketing accounts.
  • Work with Communications and PR on narrative consistency, industry visibility and analyst relations.
  • Communications leads external reputation, the company narrative and media strategy. You lead brand expression and content supply.
  • Work with regional leaders in the Americas, EMEA and APAC to adapt global narratives locally while keeping core positioning intact.
  • Lead and grow global teams across Brand, Social, Thought Leadership, Paid Media and Web, with clear succession and development plans.

Requirements

  • You have deep leadership experience in brand, content and integrated marketing within global, matrixed organizations, across editorial and corporate settings.
  • You have built brand and thought leadership programs that measurably changed how the market saw a company or category.
  • You have led multi-disciplinary teams spanning brand, creative, social, content, paid media and web.
  • You know enterprise technology markets well, including cloud, connectivity, AI and digital infrastructure.
  • You have worked well with C-suite executives, analyst firms such as Gartner, Forrester and IDC, and agencies.
  • You shape the big ideas that define a category rather than only producing campaigns that describe products.
  • You are a skilled editor with excellent writing judgment and hold a high quality bar across the content organization.
  • You earn the trust of senior leaders and influence how they present themselves to the market.
  • You are commercially minded and analytical, linking brand, content and media spending to pipeline and differentiation.
  • You are a strong people leader and change agent across diverse creative disciplines.
