Description

Breezeway’s award-winning property operations and experience platform helps coordinate, communicate, and verify detailed work at properties. Powering over 55M property care tasks, Breezeway helps thousands of short-term rental managers and hospitality operators increase operational efficiency and boost service revenue while eliminating manual work and elevating the experience at each property.

Responsibilities

  • We're hiring a Lifecycle & Customer Marketing Manager to own how we engage prospects and customers at every stage of the journey. You'll build the programs that turn leads into pipeline, new customers into active users, and active users into long-term advocates.
  • This is a hands-on, high-ownership role. You own the pre-sale journey end to end. Post-sale, you own the messaging, content, and build, against journey experiences set by our Senior Customer Operations Lead. You'll report to the VP of Marketing and partner closely with Customer Operations, Demand Gen, Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • It’s a high-visibility role on a lean, high-output team. You'll own meaningful work from day one. Breezeway sits at the intersection of AI and one of the fastest-growing segments in hospitality, offering a unique opportunity to help shape the future of property operations. You’ll join a fast-moving, execution-oriented team that ships quickly and views marketing as a critical driver of growth. As a remote-first company, we prioritize collaboration, ownership, and building a team that genuinely enjoys working together.
  • Own the pre-sale journey end to end: Map, build, and optimize the path from new lead to MQL, SQL, and opportunity. Recycle closed-lost and stalled opportunities back into pipeline.
  • Build on the scoring model: Use the lead scoring, lifecycle stages, and handoff rules owned by Demand Gen to trigger and personalize nurture. Feed engagement insights back into the model.
  • Build post-sale programs: Write and build onboarding, adoption, expansion, and renewal programs across HubSpot email, Hubspot agents, and Appcues, against the audiences, triggers, and timing defined by Customer Operations.
  • Launch to the base: Partner with Product Marketing to bring new features and launches to existing customers to drive adoption and, where applicable, up-sell opportunities.
  • Test relentlessly: Run A/B and multivariate tests on subject lines, content, creative, and channels. Co-design journey-logic tests with Customer Operations.
  • Measure and report: Own pre-sale funnel reporting and program-influenced pipeline. Jointly own success metrics for post-sale programs with Customer Operations.
  • Run customer marketing motions: Own advocacy, reviews, newsletters, and product update communications.
  • Scale with AI: leverage AI to automate and personalize campaigns for target audiences
  • Own email health: Maintain deliverability, list hygiene, preference centers, and compliance (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL).

Requirements

  • 5+ years in lifecycle, email, CRM, or customer marketing, with at least 3 years at a SaaS company.
  • A track record of lifecycle programs that moved a revenue metric: pipeline, conversion, activation, retention, or expansion. You can name the number.
  • Deep hands-on expertise in a marketing automation platform (HubSpot, Marketo, Braze, Customer.io, or similar). You build journeys yourself, not through a ticket queue.
  • Strong command of segmentation, lead scoring, lifecycle stages, and CRM data hygiene.
  • Experience using product usage data to trigger and personalize campaigns.
  • A rigorous testing mindset and comfort with analytics. You can build a report, read a cohort, and explain what changed and why.
  • Sharp, concise writing. You can draft copy that converts.
  • Cross-functional credibility with Sales, CS, and Product. You can align teams on handoffs and hold them to it.
  • Comfort with ambiguity in a fast-moving, growth-stage environment.
  • Early adopter of AI tools, with an interest in using them to scale personalization, content, and testing.
  • Experience with in-app messaging or product-led growth tools (Appcues, Pendo, Intercom).
  • Bonus Points
  • Experience at a SaaS company serving short-term rental, property management, or vacation rental operators.
  • Experience marketing to SMB and independent operators, not just enterprise buyers.
  • Familiarity with account-based or signal-based programs that blend marketing and sales outreach.
  • Experience running customer advocacy, referral, or review programs.
  • Working knowledge of SQL or BI tools (Metabase, Looker, Tableau).
  • We're a remote-first company with team members across the U.S. and globe, but we currently hire only in the following states and countries.
  • Countries: US and Spain
  • United States: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.
