Description

The company makes a platform that gives finance, risk, and sustainability teams trusted, traceable data on a single secure foundation, with AI built in. This role sits between the UX disciplines (design, design systems, content, and research) and the wider Product organization.

The focus is on shared decision routines and operating models so that the UX organization works as one unit. You will simplify workflows, standardize practices, and use automation and AI for repetitive work. The Head of UX and UX Directors keep final say on people leadership, UX strategy, and priorities. You will support them directly and work with Product Operations on joint operating models and cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and run recurring rituals, design critiques, and decision checkpoints for every UX function.
  • Act as the day-to-day UX contact for Product Operations and prepare the Head of UX for Product Strategy and Operations sessions, then make sure the follow-up actually happens.
  • Manage the UX tooling and vendor budget, including renewals and procurement with IT, Procurement, Finance, and Legal.
  • Review the tool stack, including Figma and AI tools. Pilot new tools against measurable results, merge communication channels and documentation, and create reusable templates.
  • Build the onboarding system and the reusable job description, interview loop, and evaluation templates that Directors fill in for their discipline.
  • Link Research Ops to the shared rhythms and lead a cross-discipline competency and leveling framework.
  • Run the executive reporting cadence, share UX strategy with the team, and organize UX input into the company's annual cross-functional work.
  • Find repeatable workflows that suit AI or automation, pilot them with guardrails, and use operational health measures to decide what to scale.
  • Build rituals and engagement moments that keep a distributed team connected and psychologically safe.

Requirements

  • Minimum: 10+ years in UX operations, design or research program management, or a similar operations role across several director-led teams.
  • Minimum: Hands-on experience owning a budget and managing vendors from start to finish.
  • Minimum: A record of building an operating model, cadence, or process where little structure existed before.
  • Minimum: Experience preparing an executive for high-stakes conversations across the organization and driving the follow-through.
  • Preferred: Experience building processes, planning cadences, or shared systems where structure was limited or still taking shape.
  • Preferred: Ability to influence without formal authority, guide decisions, and build strong working relationships across disciplines.
  • Preferred: Experience preparing leaders for cross-functional discussions and turning decisions into clear actions and follow-through.
  • Preferred: Clear written and verbal communication, adjusted for executives, team leads, and individual contributors.
  • Preferred: Ability to rank a broad set of priorities and deliver improvements in small, manageable stages.
  • Preferred: Experience supporting a multidisciplinary UX organization that spans design, research, content, and design systems.
  • Preferred: Experience working with Product Operations on shared planning, workflows, or organizational standards.
  • Preferred: Experience creating hiring and onboarding systems, supporting competency frameworks, or coordinating research operations.
  • Preferred: Working knowledge of Figma, Jira, collaboration and documentation platforms, and budget-tracking tools.
  • Preferred: Experience applying AI or automation to operations work with clear guardrails and measurable outcomes.
  • Preferred: Experience defining operational metrics and using data to improve processes, measure capacity, and assess adoption.
  • Travel: Up to 10% travel to meet distributed team members, depending on how close you live to a company office.
  • Working conditions: Reliable internet access for periods of remote work.
