Solution Consultant - Partnerships

Description

The role sits in the Partner Solution Consulting team and centres on helping consulting and advisory partners across EMEA understand, position and demonstrate the company's platform as a governed data and AI product. You will show partners how connected data, automation and AI make reporting traceable, trusted and defensible, and how that can open new service work for them in Sustainability, Financial Reporting and GRC.

The team's approach has three parts: building partner confidence in the value and market opportunity, enabling partners to find and advance opportunities, and supporting innovation through differentiated partner solutions and services.

You will start with solid sustainability knowledge and build broad command of the core solutions. Demonstrations, worked example solutions and partner training will help partners gain the platform skill they need to create customer value and grow their practices.

Responsibilities

• Work with Alliance Directors, Partner Sales Executives and sales teams on partner account plans, helping partners spot opportunities in their client base and moving partner-sourced and co-sell pipeline forward.
• Use your sustainability expertise in partner work while you learn to position and demonstrate the wider core solutions.
• Build and present demonstrations that convince partners of the value of the data and AI platform, showing how it helps their clients and creates services revenue.
• Run hands-on activation and enablement sessions so partner teams can find opportunities, position the solutions with confidence and show relevant use cases.
• Build and update reusable enablement material such as demo scripts, solution guides, playbooks and train-the-trainer packs, and help write partner certification content.
• Support senior Partner Solution Consultants on partner engagements, shared resources and team process improvements.
• Set up and look after partner demo environments that show relevant use cases for practice and customer demos.
• Act as a trusted adviser to partners as they build platform skill and design their own client offerings on the platform.

Requirements

• At least 4 years in pre-sales, solution consulting, partner enablement, management consulting, technical sales or solution delivery.
• Experience turning business needs into clear solution recommendations, demos or enablement sessions.
• Ability to give persuasive, value-led presentations to both business and technical audiences. Software demo experience is an advantage.
• A related bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
• Foundational knowledge of sustainability reporting, sustainability data management or carbon accounting from consulting, industry or software work is preferred.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and domains across Sustainability, Financial Reporting and GRC is preferred, with a record of doing so.
• Experience with or inside consulting and advisory firms, such as the Big Four or similar, including supporting partner relationships or joint client work is preferred.
• Experience producing partner-facing content such as demo frameworks, solution guides, training or certification material is preferred.
• Experience with financial reporting, ERP, GRC, general ledger, FP&A, or analytics and reporting tools is preferred.
• Hands-on work with SaaS products, AI technologies, enterprise data structures or API integrations is preferred.
• Strong collaboration, organisation and communication skills, with the ability to juggle several engagements and work alone when needed is preferred.
• A proactive, problem-solving attitude, a habit of continuous learning and a drive to improve how partners work with the company is preferred.
• Up to 30% travel for partner, customer and internal meetings.
• A reliable internet connection for remote working, since flexible arrangements are part of how the team works.
