Description

The technical solutions consultant drives the technical rollout and ongoing support of digital solutions across regional integrated delivery networks and individual hospitals, from pre-sales readiness through activation and long-term upkeep.

The role calls for strong technical judgment, stakeholder engagement and disciplined execution. Strong fits think strategically about digital change, communicate well with varied audiences, and keep learning as the work shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the multiport, single port and endoluminal capital teams and digital sales reps to build lasting relationships with regional networks and hospital IT and digital leaders, moving new and upgraded digital solutions forward. Bring technical clarity before sale to build trust and speed approval.
  • Lead engagement with customer technical review boards, data and AI governance groups, and networking teams. Give technical presentations, including product overviews, data flow diagrams and network topology diagrams, to help customers approve and prioritize projects.
  • Build and maintain standard implementation processes for aligned customers, so that deployments at enterprise or single-hospital level are repeatable and efficient.
  • Prepare field service teams and partner functions to get things right the first time: keep business system records accurate, validate configurations, and communicate fully and on time. Own the work from planning through adoption so solutions go live smoothly and keep delivering value.
  • After go-live, step in when needed to support adoption and keep customer confidence high and use of digital solutions steady.
  • Build a deep technical understanding of the company's digital portfolio. Pass field learnings and customer feedback to leadership so they can shape the roadmap, remove system-level obstacles and speed up value across accounts.
  • Identify your own skill gaps and close them through ongoing learning in relevant technologies, project leadership and stakeholder management. Share best practices with the team and raise standards through your own work.

Requirements

  • Six or more years of experience in medical technology implementation, IT consulting, or digital work in healthcare.
  • Solid understanding of cloud-hosted SaaS platforms, healthcare data security and networking infrastructure.
  • Experience managing accounts or working directly with capital sales.
  • Clear written and spoken communication with operational, clinical and technical stakeholders alike.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

U.S. export control rules (15 CFR §743.13(b)) may apply to some roles for prospective employees who are nationals of embargoed or sanctioned countries. Where they do, the company may need to obtain a U.S. government export license, which can take 3 to 6+ months, or put a Technology Control Plan (TCP) in place, which typically adds 2 weeks to hiring. For such roles, offers depend on an approved license and/or executed TCP before the start date, which may or may not be flexible. Candidates will be told what is needed if this applies.

Applicants with arrest and conviction records are considered in line with fair chance laws.

The role may be filled at a different job level depending on business need and the selected candidate's experience, knowledge and skills. Pay depends mainly on the job level filled and the candidate's qualifications, in line with applicable law.
