  • Work with a mixed group of engineers, analysts and government or DoD staff to grasp system behavior and mission context.
  • Turn analysis needs into model structures.
  • Measure and explain uncertainty, assumptions and limits.
  • Use Python, C++ or similar languages to automate tasks, process data and run models.
  • Write technical documents and intelligence-based reports on modeling methods, inputs and findings.

  • U.S. citizen holding an active TS/SCI clearance, and able to keep it.
  • Working experience with MATLAB and strong Simulink skills.
  • Hands-on coding in at least one language, such as Python, C++ or MATLAB.
  • Familiarity with modeling and simulation of mechanical or aerospace systems.
  • Able to work independently and within a technical team.
  • Strong written and spoken communication.
  • Preferred: prior experience using or modifying TMAP models, especially in an IC or NASIC/NSIC setting.
  • Preferred: experience with AFSIM or other modeling and simulation platforms, such as STK, NGTS or ITASE.
  • Preferred: experience on Agile development teams, including use of Jira.
  • Preferred: experience reading and working with intelligence-based data and reports to inform models.
  • Preferred: prior IC or domain experience with NASIC/NSIC or similar organizations.
  • Preferred: experience documenting complex models and analysis results for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred: familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), SysML or Cameo.
