Staff Product Manager

Description

The company combines two learning brands into one platform that helps more than 300 million learners and over 12,000 enterprise customers build the skills needed in a world being reshaped by AI.

You will own the product vision and roadmap for a core agentic AI capability at the center of a new AI-first product line. The capability determines how the system reasons, generates output, and acts for users, and you will set the standard for strong AI-driven product experiences as it scales.

You will report to the Product Director for Growth and Experience. The work is a foundational, highly visible initiative that will shape how AI-first products are built across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision and roadmap for the agentic AI capability, from early concept through scaled delivery.
• Define how the system reasons and produces outcomes, including its underlying logic, taxonomy, and decision models.
• Turn ambiguous, frontier-level problems into clear product requirements when the right answer is not yet known.
• Work closely with data science and ML teams so product decisions rest on real model behavior and signal.
• Set the bar for what good looks like in an AI-first agentic product, as opposed to a traditional workflow product.
• Present the capability's vision and progress to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience designing agentic, AI-driven product systems, beyond conventional workflow products.
• Data and ML fluency, with a proven record of working directly with data science on reasoning and inference design.
• Experience writing product requirements for systems whose behavior is undefined or emerging, where the specification cannot be fixed in advance.
• A consistent record of sound judgment on taxonomy, ontology, and knowledge structure design.
• Skill at requirements elicitation, drawing clear requirements out of ambiguous, fast-changing problem spaces.
• 8+ years of product management experience, with demonstrated staff-level scope and impact.
• Strong product strategy skills for designing agentic AI systems and defining the vision for frontier AI capabilities.
• Enough AI fluency to understand what AI can and cannot do, and where agentic reasoning systems are appropriate.
