Description

The company is hiring a Senior Product Manager to set the strategy and lead delivery for its developer and agentic experience on its fully managed, multi-cloud database service.

You will work on how developers, platform teams and AI agents build on and run the service through APIs, CLI, Agent Skills and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The aim is to turn complicated infrastructure work into simple, dependable and increasingly automated experiences that grow adoption and revenue.

You will own the vision and the 12-month roadmap, including how the service changes to support AI agents, a shift that is changing how teams build and run cloud infrastructure.

The role is hybrid and the team is looking to speak with candidates based in Dublin.

Responsibilities

  • Own the vision, strategy and 12-month roadmap for developer and agentic experience, weighing the needs of developers, platform teams, enterprise customers and AI agents.
  • Turn separate programmatic features into connected, end-to-end workflows for deploying, running and optimizing the service.
  • Make the service easy for AI agents to find, understand and operate safely, while developers stay in control.
  • Find high-impact programmatic opportunities and define their business models, pricing and packaging to drive adoption and revenue.
  • Lead customer research and product validation with developers, platform teams and enterprise customers, and turn what you learn into product decisions.
  • Work closely with engineering and design to frame problems, set requirements, make tradeoffs and ship well-built products from discovery through launch and iteration.
  • Own positioning, messaging and go-to-market for your products, and drive launches and adoption with Sales and Customer Success.
  • Set clear success measures for adoption, retention and consumption through programmatic use, and use product analytics, customer feedback and market signals to adjust priorities.
  • Explain product direction and decisions to senior leaders and cross-functional partners, including why the company will and will not build certain things.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience, including owning complex technical products used by developers or technical teams.
  • A record of setting product strategy and shipping products for technical users, ideally in developer tools, CLIs, APIs, agentic platforms, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) or cloud platforms.
  • Experience growing adoption and revenue, including business cases, pricing and packaging, and go-to-market plans.
  • Experience turning unclear customer and business problems into focused strategies, product narratives, roadmaps and prioritized plans.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence across engineering and product teams without formal authority.
  • Experience building and scaling products for both large enterprises and individual developers, balancing their different needs.
  • Strong customer instincts and the ability to lead high-stakes conversations with enterprise customers.
  • Comfort with AI-enabled products and judgment about where automation, guidance and human control add the most value.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to make complex technical ideas clear and compelling.
  • A bias toward action, disciplined prioritization and the judgment to decide with incomplete information.
  • Familiarity with the company, Atlas or comparable database or cloud platforms.
  • Experience with developer platforms and IaC tools such as CLIs, APIs, Terraform or cloud provider tooling.
  • Experience building products for AI agents, such as MCP servers, agent skills or AI coding tool integrations.
  • Experience with self-serve growth, developer onboarding or usage-based pricing.
  • Experience working across cloud and local development environments.
